Correct me if I'm wrong...
BUT
Shouldn't Rooney be a St.Helens supporter if anything, is not Saints closer to Liverpool then Leeds.
Not that this makes the decision of whom you root for......I'm 30+ klm away from my rabbit burrow but support them because my grand father was born & bred down Surrey Hills (Redfern).
Re; Rooney supporting Leeds.....it always amazes me when I see what money the so called super stars can earn whether it's football or American basket ball, NFL etc. and our rugby leagues clubs run an entire club of 50 players + staff on a salary cap of a quarter of what they (Rooney & Co.) earn in a year....
It's of no wonder the likes of Portsmouth & Rangers are feeling the pinch....
Correct me if I'm wrong, but st helens aren't playing on friday. I'm guessing he's doing the patriotic thing and supporting an English team.
Not sure why you mentioned what he earns, if the clubs are that stupid to pay them you can't blame the players.
Get out of bed on the wrong side did we Kuwait.....
Hell fire Kuwait .... there's only discussion on here about Rooney supporting Leeds on Friday. What's up - the air conditioning not working today?
I thought Souths made a valid point - and just an observation.
I got out of the right side thanks.
At the moment it's too bloody cold for the ac.
I am from newcastle but i support wigan, I don't want to be a gateshead thunder fan
He actually supports the rhinos as he's followed their finals and has said they have the same approach as man u. I was as surprised as everyone else when I saw it

The statement you made proves that Leeds have the same influence at R/L head quarters that Man U have with the Premier League.

Busyatwork- what are you talking about, I went to my first Rhino's came back in the 70's and what the hell has man u got to do with this.
Anyways, let's hope Wayne is cheering on a winning Rhino's team tonight. I hope all you whino haters have a miserable night
sorry busyatwork, i thought you was having a go at me, thats the trouble with been a Rhino's fan, you think sometimes the whole world is against you.
You need to relax a little bit more Kuwaiti.....stop stressing so much, otherwise you will end up with an ulcer by Sept.
South - it adds to the enjoyment of following Leeds
I'm luckyI am of a relaxed personality and simply shrug off most things as not important enough to worry about.....but my mob South's certainly push me to the bloody edge at times with some close games instead of winning by 20 they always manage to let the opposition back in once they have showed authority....we often get beat but usually only by a couple which create grey hairs on top of the already grey matter...
Just to confirm in the league weekly Rooney has put Congratulations to the best rugby league team in the world Leeds Rhinos world club champions.
