Sounds good to me, bud - keep the money-grabbin parasites away and leave it to people who really care about the club.
Seriously Dos. I didny come here looking for a rammy. But you have spouted some pash on this thread. I may be a fhanny, but I sent back my taxes to nasty Sarkozy earlier this week. If it's good enough for a skint fhanny like me, it's good enough for rich fhuds like Murray & Whyte
"Your club has spent the last 12 years breaking laws"

We'll see what th tribunal says. In any case, no laws were deliberately breached. The point of such schemes is to reduce liability within the law.
Stevie, you have a point.
Think the biggest problem for survival will be the fact the the season ticket money is hawked. This defo will put some supporters off turnin up and from this moment on the ONLY thing that can save Rangers will be bums on seats
Sorry Ath, nae axe to grind here, but it has been proved that Whyte broke the rules to the tune of 9 million. Which is why we are where we are.
I truly hope that Rangers get through this, but if Murray, or any of his cronies who oversaw this originally, have anything to do with any rescue, then it will be apalling. As has been noted by several, including Dados, the fans need to be involved...
Interesting all this stuff about wanting to expand the shareholder base....Rangers fans haven't been too quick to get involved in the past.
Apologies, Stevie, was thinking of the other tax bill at the time.
Rangers fans have never had the offer in the past
If you refer to the rights issue then that was as the name state an issue to those with existing share rights.
around 80 % of share holders took the option
SDM took his and then paid up the balance
what needs to be remembered is that as far as we were made aware this was not a critical time.
anyway fully subscribed in the end.
Magnum...am skint; include me out.
Nae worries ath mate. Listen, i'm calling it a night here. G'night troops, may all your dreams be wet ones
Atheist. Ah wonder what Hofnabeer is makin of all this. Was half expectin him to turn up. Times of trouble an aw that.

It's been my fervent wish that the Hof would come back on, for many reasons.
That wee diddy Capital Bhoy got my hopesup by pretending to be him. No wonder he now "writes" for the Sun.
Recent events prove one thing to me. The Hof will never return from his self imposed exile and were poorer for it.
Rab.
Sad to say, I believe you are correct.

Technically not yet it's not - IMO he's moved it through his companies and I reckon he saw the writing on the wall and tried to take on HMRC.
Folly IMO, but if he fuxthemmover in parallel everybody loses...
deBear, from what I'm reading, HMRC are after Whyte personally, not just Rangers.
Ath,
Don't buy that myself.
To the HMRC whytes just like any chancer, they're a professional institution and are being relentless.
SDM saying that many other clubs/businesses are looking at us 'behind the curtains' is thr only sensible thing he's said ....
Think HMRC will be doing the rounds after Rangers regardless of the outcome here. Money has to be recovered in these hard times and their lawyers are on the payroll so may as well work them
Agreed Ra_BB_iT
Mates who work in finance, accounting, etc can't understand why the EBT scheme was not insured or cleared by a company like EPMG, etc
That's thr one question I would like an answer to..,
