The football players need to take a long hard look at this, for it is they and they're excessive wage demands that will bring football clubs to its knees.
Don't say you haven't been warned!
For years now the more money 95% of football clubs get a year in income the more debt they accumulate.
Blaming the greed of players in a bit naive, the owners/chairmen of clubs are the ones that sanction the wages,so they are just as culpable.
Fifa is also to blame for introducing the law saying all players contracts and wage negotiations between them and and club has to go through a third party(agent). If you look at how much money they take out the game every year it beggars the question of is Fifa really good for the game.Just why would a governing body want less money kept within the game and also introduce their fair play rule which also stops billionaires pumping billions of their own money into football.
Fifa and Uefa are controlled by the tradition big 16/20 teams of the World and will do everything to maintain the status quo on those teams behalf
It beggars belief that clubs have to pay agents and then the agents get a share of the players wages/signing on fee - surely there is a conflict of interest?!!?!? The agent isn't exactly going to be bartering on the club's behalf to lower his own income is he!!???1!!
Didn;t realise it was FIFA that stated that - if so they need to change their stance.

Sure the fans would be happy to see wages and transfer spending cut, I think it is a priority for the BU to get this happening at GP.
It's nice to see the therapy is working CE
The BU could buy the club for an alan whicker.
I have full confidence that they would do a better job than the present incumbents.
Each and everyone of them have, after all, invested more into the club than the Chairman and his band of brothers over the last decade.
Let`s get them in say i.
Phil,do you fancy getting on the other end of the banner with me on Saturday ?
What role would the BU clown play in the take-over?.
Would the catering for the executive seats be transfered over the the BU members burger and hot dog enterprises?
Would the purchases of new players be dependent on total sales of blue and amber scarves?
He could sit in the Chairmans seat. Then again, how would we tell the difference.
By the smell of onions and the painted smile on the face for a start.I'm sure the 'local businessman' would not want to neglect his 'local business' interests.
Would they have a plan drawn up about remaining at Goodison,a plan that was not written in crayons

I expect the balloon to come back with something like 'at least they pay for their tickets'
Onions ?
Certainly not the painted smile,or indeed painted tears
Come to think of it,does our beloved William have an onion up his sleeve to be used at the appropriate moment.

At least they pay for their tickets
I took my nephew to the game last week for the first time.
The cost of his ticket means he has invested more into EFC in 90 minutes than any of our board in 10 years
Are the Blue Union fairweather protesters.Since the onset of Winter and the slight upturn in fortunes on the pitch there's more chance pf hearing a squirrel fart than a BU protest

That they do, in fact they all made sure they were in the ground for 2:30, missing the pre game rush and a chance to hand out fliers
I think that may be down to mission accomplished, for the first phase anyway.
They should have asked the high fliers to hand out ( ) the fliers.
In this day and age you should be made to earn your keep.
Chairman and board ........... a full decade = £0
Dad and lad ticket = £35
I make that, pardon my arithmatics if not up to scratch, £35 in front to the dad and lad combination.
Have i missed something ?
Quite possibly,if running true to form
First £35 from you this season I wager,Bill would love to meet you to shake you by the hand for your contribution to help in the saving of Everton FC
The BU lads with the fliers had flown!
Get in the ground, have a beer and fund uncle bill's free ride.....thats the spirit.
