1) He's one of the only ones actually performing right now for them
2) We are one of their biggest rivals
3) Where would we play him?
4) Who would he replace?
5) The window has now closed

Mouse,I've been in Geneva for 11 years so if they are TV programmes I've never seen them.
Ok, had you down as a watcher of most/all of those programmes.
Never mind.
Chronic old chum
I "Had a word" on the board late on yesterday, whats all this about you being banned from ours, I didn't think it possible to be banned off the whole board, who was responsible
Dawn, now now dear lady, that's just unpleasant, is it an awkward time dearie
And as for Sturridge, he needs 5 1on1's with the keeper to score a single goal, he will never be prolific, and he never plays with his head up, he has potential, but believe me he is still a work in progress
For goodness Gaz,I'm talking about the end of the season. Look at some of the comments. To replace Defoe is one and Ade I think should leave.....I think. He wants to leave.
Harry is good at bringing out potential and he hasn't gone yet has he? No,not an awkward time, you asked for advice about shaving so I gave it to you.

i have been banned from your board along with arsenal and liverpool so can only post in multi board articles involving spurs and chelsea.
liquidator is the culprit he complained that apprantly i was being homophobic.
You honestly think Sturridge would replace Defoe or Ade??? He plays on the wing not as a lone striker, he couldn't hold the ball up to save his life
According to 1 Team he is not a winger,Chelsea play him out wide,he is in fact a striker so argue with 1 Team. So who's right, you or him? But Sturridge is a good player and I can see him in a Spurs shirt...that's all,it's not world war three for goodness sake.
Surprised at the vitriol here for a simple suggestion
I think it's pretty clear Sturridge is a striker being played out of position. Even then, he's being used as a wide man in a 4-3-3 - hardly a winger's position anyway.
Either way he'd be too expensive because he's: 1. English, 2. one of Chelsea's better players, and 3. we won't let them have Modric.
It was just a suggestion and I cannot understand the vitriol either. It seems that there's disagreement on which position he plays best. Chelsea are in turmoil and I think we should bid.
Gaz - Sturridge is not a winger! Hence why he's making so much noise at Chelsea for always being played in a wide role, he's a centre forward
He's quick, strong and a good finisher, a step up from Defoe, but he's not the type of player we really need.
I personally quite like Sturridge, but I dont really see him improving the team. I feel hes very similar to Defoe, small, quick, direct...not sure what he'd offer us. Apart from being a lot younger
Fair comment N17 although he's better on the ball and certainly stronger than Defoe. Still, it's never gonna happen.
I meant Sturridge plays on the right of a front 3, not as an out and out winger.
But my previous points still stand
Apparently we are in a 3 way love triangle for Damiao
Sturridge would be very handy. It's a perfect fit. We need a young striker who's as good as what we've got. I'd say he definitely can be. We need back up to Lennon as well. He ticks that box too.

Let's get Sturridge.
