Not sure what is constructive about bitching and whining about the dealings of a man that is no longer with us. As mentioned already, it doesn't help and doesn't change anything.

All it does is show a few people up for being complete morons.

No one is bitching or whining duck, I'm just giving my opinion.

The fact is Nigel Doughty's gross mismanagement of NFFC now potentially leaves the club in a very dangerous situation.

It depends how the will is written. Line of distribution may be an issue. The will may be contested. If that is the case then to make it public straight away, stating one thing, and then a contest arise would, or could, give a different outcome.

Patience is asked for and that should be respected by all at Nottingham Forest.

Whether or not his reign was 'disastrous' which is a highly debatable point, (would have been more disastrous if he never came in, we wouldn't exist) the man who supported this club all his life put in over 100 million pounds of his own personal wealth. He didn't use money from his hedge funds, he used his own money to try and get Forest back from the brink. Then he was hounded out by a few idiots in the A block and died in the knowledge that if he went back to the City Ground he would be booed (he hadn't been to a match since October). When I think about it I sort of feel ashamed to call myself a Forest fan.

Name a stand after him, or the academy, hell rename the river running past the ground he has struggled to maintain at a severe cost, it is the least he deserves.

He was a bigger forest fan than most of us here. No-one can dispute that fact.

I admire Juicy plums for not being hyprocritical even though I find it absolutely staggering how anyone can say Doughty was a bad owner. IMO it was the transfer panels fault

listen to yourselves some of you, doughty was in the process of running the club into the ground and not for the first time during his ownership.

sympathies to his family but i for one am delighted someone else will be calling the shots in future

Remind me again, who put in place the AP? And when it failed year on year, who as owner of the club, decided to continue with the AP?

Common denominator = Doughty.

doughtuy put in lots of money- and I know he put in the AP, but its not his fault if managers/panels spend it on rubbish. Damned if he does, damned if he dosent IMO

Erm, well it makes no sense if that's what you mean!

I'm assuming by your username you live in Texas and as such have lost touch with what has been going on at Forest for the past 12/13 years.

So until you get clued up on what's what at Forest you'd perhaps be best served not commenting on matters pertaining the club you support

Juicy, Doughty took out the loans in his own name, not against NFFC as a business, therefore at the moment that huge debt you talk of is at his door. The Will probably addresses what happens with regards to it.

For the record, you don't have to be within a certain radius of the City Ground to be a forest fan or have an understanding of our problems, so not sure what your issue is with Toronto.

Well I can only assume that because he lives in Texas that he has become detached from reality at NFFC!

I look forward to the reading of this will and what it means to NFFC with great intrepidation
