Harry should just manage the Euro's and come back to us, that way he gets to manage England and keep in club management.

Let Pearce do the qualifiers, he's quite capable of that and should increase his experience.

Levy will have something up his sleeve.

Sir Keith Mills, another Spurs director is quoted as saying it is Harry's decision. There has been no approach from the FA & providing the do it right Spurs will not have a problem.

Another Ramos perhaps....

can anyone see Harry turning the england job down?

posted on 16/2/12

I don't think he will Don, no doubt Levy has something planned.

posted on 16/2/12

Actually Don, I can. I think the papers did us a favour by raising the Pearce/Ince thing from 18 years ago.

Maybe Harry realises what a goldfish bowl he will be working in if he takes the job.

Listen to what he says about how he loves the Club & the job.

I am probably wrong, but I just have a feeling that maybe the FA for once will lose out.

There is no chance Harry will turn down England

as long as they look after his tax....

He's a West Ham man and has no particular loyalty to Spurs, he just liked the fact that he took them from a 5th place to erm...5th after spending another £100m (this season isn't over yet)

Thankfully Joe Lewis has deeper pockets than Mandaric

Guardiola would be the one, if only

Don.............TGP..........................I think I would prefer Pep to Jose mainly because of the style of football. But Mourinho would definitely win us trophies, no doubt about that.

What is everyone's opinion on Mr.Klinsman?

He's not the correct choice for me.

Pep

I like Klinsmann, but i have a feeling he would be a flop at Spurs.

posted on 17/2/12

TGP I agree, I like Klinsman also but I don't think he had what it takes to manage a team who hopefully next season will be challenging for the title in his first season in charge.

I don't think Levy has a choice, so the best thing for PR (we are riding high at the moment in goodwill - crucial before everything about the new stadium is finalised) is to be graceful about it.

Of course plan B is in place!

Meanwhile it looks like Harry may be backtracking a bit and hedging his bets suddenly with all this 'just for the Euros is an option' spiel.

Klinsmann no way for me - would be Ardiles mark 2. I'd say the only option I like on all fronts is Van Gaal. Funnily enough, Whingers odds are shortening (now only something like two billion to one)

I too would not now go for Jurgen. Pep would I think come if AEG takes over and pays him. So too Jose. It must be a big name.

Technically he took them from bottom with "2 points from 8 games" to becoming a title challenging team in 3 years and a net spend of £15m

if we let harry go,whenever the time comes...can we expect the FA to do us a few 'favours' in terms of our pursuit of the top 4........
