Fair play it takes a good man to admit being wrong.
As the biggest Bates hater in the world your post means alot.
Any action is good because it all adds up
Hate these people that say we cant change anything.
They are wrong
In answer to all your questions in the 2nd paragraph...just one word.....Bates!!!!
What proven manager would seriously want to work with him?
Hallelujah brother! Welcome to the fold, and for those that still think Bates is good for the club, there are none so blind as those who cannot see.
White mafia, I think the term you are looking for is there are none so blind as those who do not want to see.

I think a lot of people on here started off prepared to give Mr Bates the benefit of the doubt, at least they could identify with his more practical approach to money - like not wanting to spend what he did not have. After the recent history that was not seen as a bad thing.
However, in my case, I stopped believing in the project over a year ago, and every new pronouncement and development just seems to make it worse.
For the dwindling group who think anyone with my view is - erm - misguided, I'd just say, I did not start out with this viewpoint, it came gradually as I assessed the actions rather than the words that were being fed to us.
Yes, I have also had enough. It seems pretty clear that giving Redfearn a chance is just another way of avoiding the need to splash out. We need an experienced hand at the tiller, now more than ever - a Wilko is what we need.
As a Leeds supporter of almost 40 years now, albeit one who can't afford to make the trip to ER more than once a season, I gave the management my backing.
Up until this year.
The transfer dealings and the mangers employed have been a disaster since Bates arrived - particularly Dennis Wise. I gave SG the benefit of the doubt because he was young and Leeds through and through.
However, looking back over the last seven years, we've made little progress. Now its time to add my voice to the growing opposition, especially after recently read about Bates's dodgy dealings in the Caribbean and Rhodesia in the past. He is an opportunist of the worst sort.
All we can do is boycott the games and hit him in his pocket, the only language he understands. It will be disastrous for the club to do so in the short term, but we have to cut the cancer out before it gets much worse. Like many fans, I am personally pretty powerless to do much. I simply can't afford to shell out the cash needed to make the long journey - and I don't know how you who go regularly can afford to do so these days, although I appreciate you doing so.
I feel sorry for Redfearn who I am sure is only trying his best, but we need experience to get us back into the PL.
BATES OUT!
2020 The 7-year itch is becoming an irritant to almost everyone barring NJS.
Your 1st paragraph sums it 100% mate and some stopped believing him in year 2, year 3 etc, but 7-years and still in the same place is a joke because the club makes a lot of money and has done for all those 7-years. We've just not seen the benefit of it and the accounts show we lose money before player trading, which is a fudge and can't be true
on paper IMO the team sheet looks more than capable in this league

incredible that people say this when we have such a poor squad..
