anything but the chelsea model.

city model i dont want as i would prefer to work hard and gradually improve than buy everything.

the villa model is probably the best... but hopefully with more success than them

We already have the best looking model in the league. No need to look elsewhere if new owners arrive.

I'll bet a weeks wages to a pinch of sheet that 'arrys ears have pricked up at the sound of this.

Yank money rolling in, a few quid slipping down the cracks and being quietly hoovered up by you know who, luvly jubbly.

The FA might as well appoint Woy now

Bought on a Buy-To-Let basis by the Glazers who take everything out but have put little in.

yeah, the 18 million on de gea, 18 million on young and 17 million on jones makes you look a bit of a plank there.

None of the above.

AEG to bring in their expertise off the field in terms of sponsorship, commerical savvy, events expertise - (they secured a rumoured $700 million naming rights deal for a stadium in the States for instance...) with Daniel Levy to run the day to day team operations.

Under FFP we will need to work within our means in any case so making sure that you are maximising opportunities off the field is crucial. Could work out very well for us...

I am sure the vast majority would want the City model, although none would like to admit it on here.

Looks like we've found a Glazer fan here.

If THFC went down the road of City I'd walk away...end of.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Not a true supporter of Tottenham then?

Money / no money
Good owners / bad owners
Successful team / unsuccessful team

You don't walk away from your club.

City - Huge investment in both the team and surrounding area. quite happy to let the management do their job.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Quite happy unless your name is Mark Hughes

I wonder if AEG will give us £400million in sponsrship to flout FFP too?

Most people don't know exactly what City's owners have actually done for the whloe infratructure of the club, the fans and East Manchester. They think we just buy expensive mercenaries and choose to ignore the bargain buys like Kompany, Hart and Zabaleta and definately choose to ignore our magnificent team spirit which isn't the mark of mercenaries.

Spending £200m on a new training complex coupled with hotels and leisure facilities designed to increase revenue isn't against FFP rules, just the same as if AEG decided to spend £200m on a new stadium.

Mark Hughes was never appointed by the current owners, he was never their man.

I don't think sacking Mark Hughes was a backward step either, were you happy with Gross and Ramos?

not a glazer fan at all, but how can you say they are putting nothing back into the club after we spent over 50 million in the summer

How many of United's target's have slipped away in the last 2 years because the club wouldn't/couldn't meet the transfer price?

That was the Ronaldo money not Glazer investment btw

I would not exactly walk away if we done the same as city I would still follow Spurs but I doubt I would renew my ST and IMO it would be a sad day for the club.

I dont blame the city fans its not their fault that somebody poured loads of money into the club and plenty of them supported city thru some dreadful times.

I still firmly believe that most football fans are getting quite sick of the money and hype surrounding the prem and I think plenty of city fans would like to see a level playing field as well.

As for their magnificent team spirit that one mentioned earlier can he drop a quick note to Tevez to let him know about it because I dont think he is fully aware

The magnificent team spirit has come about since that Tevez creature went awol thats why personally i would not like him back in the picture. He can train on his own also, i wouldn't have thought many of the squad feel comfortable with his presence.

Spoken like a true football fan shame so many of your fans would take him back tho I only know this because I was listening to a radio phone it. A lot were prepared to accept everything he had done just to make sure you won the league wheras were I a city fan I would rather finish 4th than have him back again after his antics.

I don't know where they get these people from - Neither I or my match going mates want him anywhere near the club but fully understand why the club have been forced to take him back because of contractual laws. It would be wiser for people to wait and see if he plays in the first team again before they condemn Mancini.

Do you struggle to read ? Who is condeming Mancini ?

I was talking about fans of other clubs in general who seem to think that Mancini has welcomed him back with open arms and can't wait to get him assimilated back into the first team.
