I think Scolari might have been better than Avb, from what we are seeing so far.
Manager: AVB
Hilario
Bosingwa
Duberry
Sinclair
Bhoularouz
Meireles
Dalla Bona
Burley (for that own goal)
Malouda
Pizarro
Gronkjaer
Meireles and Malouda are not two of the worst we have seen in a Chelsea shirt. Malouda for all his short-comings now was fantastic between mid-2009 and summer-2010 and Meireles has not been any worse than Lampard this season, never mind then what we have seen over the years. Plus Bosingwa was also great in 2009
OP Mikel and Kalou are not that bad as welll
Torres in the worst eleven
Bosingwa has never been great
Slavisa Jokanovic has to make a worst 11, without a doubt!

Scolari inherited the strongest squad in europe who bar from horrendus injury's the 2 season's previous would have been defending the league title for the 4th season on the trot.
Really? I always thought Bos was the best RB in the league debut season. After injury though..
I saw Bosingwa was a liability in his first season (especially in the big games) he was responsible for ALL 3 our goals conceded at home to both United and Arsenal and scored the og that ended our proud record.
The squad Scolari inherited was a world class RB away to being complete, how people can say he was better than AVB beats me.
Bos in worst 11 at peak?? Are you insane? He was magnificant before he got injured, one of the best RB's in the world I would have him back in his old form in a heartbeat

Bubbles, I'm going to have to disagree with your selections for various reasons.
The defence only player I'd have for worst XI is Boulahrouz. Bos and Doobs we've had worse. And Frank Sinclair I couldn't put in a worst XI for the reason that despite his limitations, he never gave less than 100% for the team.
Midfield, give Merieles a bit more time, he hasn't been that bad; Dalla Bona was a good player, just not as good as he thought he was. Burley was actually a key player in that mid-nineties period, its just a shame about those three minutes and going on to be a twonk of a commentator.
Pizarro, fair enough but Malouda? He was a big part of the double winning team. And Gronkjaer, its always worth remembering the goal he scored against Liverpool. If Chelsea hadn't won that game, would RA still have invested?
