John Lennon couldn't get out of Liverpool fast enough, what makes you think the speedboat would want to venture there?

He even built the airport so he wouldn't have to wait for the bus

The clever thinking among the professional 'Pool pundits seems to be that Lennon simply will not fit into your system, and he'd be like a fish out of water.

The other argument I've heard today is that you already have that position covered with a young English lad from your Academy.

Lennon loves it at tottenham, his best friends are JD, TH and JJ. he wouldn't leave as long as we're a good club. and there's no way he is going to leave london for a city with zero glamour.

spurs number-

raheem sterling i think the lad is,lot's of VERY good things being said about the boy.

Ah yeh Raheem Sterling, apparently all the coaches have told him he has an attitude problem becasue he thinks the sun shines from his own a__e. So they told him pretty bluntly to knuckle down and behave or get thrown out. Another kid with a good future but ridiculous mentality......

Keane did, I rather live in Liverpool than the murder capital of Europe. Zero glamour? Wasn't Liverpool capital of culture? I'm Welsh, but southerns really do think they're something special, I've never been to such an unfriendly City in my life, and neither has Pienaar, going by one of his pals.

that's fair point.if he goes anywhere you would hope it's for footballing reasons, but it rarely is these day's.

i know all about his homesick plight, but he has stuck it out this long,so it can't be that bad.
