when players like cattermole go over the top or leave the boot in after the ball has gone you're going to get injuries
variety of things, our players, training regime, diets...all sorts... there is certainly something wrong with how we train and prepare.
only AW knows what
it's down to the training for the 1st team they don't do much running which builds up muscle & bone strength , all short runs at speed gets your fit like a F1 car
but how many last the race
I remember I think when Hoddle was our manager we had nearly half our first team out for two seasons ( different players at different times) we got rid of nearly the whole physio team and got a new team in, things did improve.
According to http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php
Arsenal are mid-table with injuries - and not even majr players.
I thought Arsenal a while back were going to investigate why they have so many non-contact injuries. It does not look they have found out yet why.
It's not an excuse for losing, but we have a reputation for being easily beaten when forced to play on a bad surface and also for losing our heads when the opposition go in hard on our players early in the game.
Essentially, our teams reputation for tippy-tappy fast-paced passing, combined with our reputation for being mentally weak and easily intimidated have both been a factor in some of the injuries we've picked up over the last few years.
I'm sure another major factor is that we seem to show the same blind faith in our medical team and physio's as we do in some of our players
I would say that Arsenal do seem easily rattled. I thought Sunderland yesterday were physical but not dirty, yet you could see several players arms aloft asking for a free kick everytime they were tackled regardless if whether or not the opposition player won the ball.
I have a lot of admiration for Wenger and do hope he turns it around after everything he has done for Arsenal and English football. But I also believe this mentality stems from the manager and is something he needs to conquer as much as the players.

Yeah that is true. With a bit physically in the game Arsenal player can be impressed easily. We are so lightweighted and have no answer when team are bullying us.
I'm not suggesting injuries can be blamed for a few defeats, but when you have five or six players that would regularly feature in the first team out over the course of a season that missing quality must add up. A few wins that turn into frustrating draws, that poor performance when an extra bit of quality would bag a winning goal and so on.
