Considering he got leeds promoted, and then 7th in championship, and played decent football, that seems harsh...but there again, many not in the know said Lee Clark's acking was harsh.

Grayson took Blackpool up too, so his record is way way better than Clarks', so I'm okay with the appointment...if this is true.

Why am i bitter, ive been wanting him sacked for 12 months.

Getting the biggest club up in the league with the biggest budget, with the likes of snoddy, howson, johnson, becchio, Beckford already at the club was a gimme.

Dunno how I feel really Tez, I'll tell you in a few weeks. Decent record as a manager which is positive but I just think he comes across a bit 'flat' and 'uninspiring'.

He also bought a few dodgy defenders at Leeds which is a bit worrying given our current weakness in that area.

Overall though - his record at Blackpool was good and so was his record at Leeds under a difficult chairman. Its results and promotions that count and he got them.

If true then he will probably be on a structured contract depending on what happens end of this season. If we get promoted then he has done his job. If we can atleast get some passion back and get the fans motivated again then he will have done his job as the season ticket sales will be stronger.

If its a total disaster then it was worth a punt and more so that Stan Ternant or Ritchie.

Who knows how it will all work out, Town have a decent enough squad, maybe a couple of loanees, and hopefully Grayson will have learned from mistakes made earlier in his career..For all his apparent 'failings', he did win promotion, twice, and Blackpool weren't a big club with loadsamoney and a great squad...maybe the championship is too much for him, but his record in league one is very good.

Nothing wrong with Grayson and he has excellent record in L1.leeds had 2nd best defence in his only full season in L1 as leeds boss and 2nd best goals total.yes he will get get hudders into championship and even autos this season as no manager in L1 comes close and he has decent team for L1 standards.you may struggle in championship though as he may find it difficult to attract his targets with so many bigger clubs with bigger turnovers in championship.not too pleased about him going to hudders as I know he will get you up although you all wanted warnock that was never going to happen.I was hoping you would get dickov

The you are an idiot pete, there is no loyalty in football, otherwise Leeds would have stuck with "one of their own". Or maybe Alan Smith wouldnt have joined Man Utd etc. They are all in it for the money and getting us promoted gets Grayson's name mentioned as a successful manager again (would be 3 promotions with 3 clubs) so that would be an impressive CV whatever happened next.

Tez,Grayson said he would of only come down to L1 for leeds but that was when he had a job.if he was for say Watford boss on less money he would not go to hudders as he would be in a job in a higher league.
