Not really angry, Spurs don't have the finances to stay at the top of the league until you have a new stadium.

New stadium on its way!!

How angry does it make you that you've had to wait all these years to pull this little gem out of the bag?

So we've actually been able to overtake you with a 36,000 seater stadium and a pretty strict wage cap...that must make it even tougher. You guys spend a fortune on wages (and season tickets...you asked for a refundd yet?).

I saw a 5pud on here earlier claim that your greatest achievement was winning the league, but that was over 50 years ago. Now theres something to be angry about.

Not angry at all Rui...I've spent a fair bit of time wondering at the work Wenger did at your club. Imagined I'd have to wait a while to see Spurs become better than you. But it's happened so quickly....

The difference "I am Gooner" is that I would love and support Spurs for the rest of my days even if you told me that we were to never win another trophy again.

I'm a Spurs fan cos they're in my blood, not because I want the glory of winning everything.

I'm just inquiring about the "forever in our shadows" stuff...you must have been incredibly cocky to say stuff like this, considering that just a few months later you are in ours...you can't honestly expect us to let such brazen arrogance go unmentioned???

If you win the league TommyEgg then I will be the first to say you have done really well - but if you don't win the league it will be 51 years and counting...

And long may you keep him Lexington!!!

That long list of Spurs managers are part of the Tottenham rollercoaster...the highs and lows are what being a football fan is all about.

So can I take it from your responses that you actually meant "Spurs - Forever in our shadows, apart from the times they're aren't"?

*not

I can't speak for others, but my comment was to highlight just how many managers you've had to go through to witness Spurs become stronger than Arsenal, (in your own words) "so quickly".

And how will you fair next season "Harry-less"?

I can't wait to find out!

Lexington by 'so quickly', I'm reffering to us being bottom of the league, 2 points from 8 games n all that just 3 years ago....that's a remarkable turnaround by anyone's standards.

Despite that ridiculous headstart, all the CL money you've had coming in, the extra seats in your stadium, the fact you could offer players CL football, the millions extra you are prepared to pay out in wages, you have actually gone BACKWARDS!!!! All the while, your rivals have bought well, built a team spirit and progressed to the point that we are better than you. That's gotta suck no?? Terrible performance by your manager and board....no escaping that!

Hear what you're saying about Harry leaving but its a sign of how far we've come that I think we'd actually be able to bring in a TOP manager - we can offer CL football, new stadium coming up, the chance to manage Modric, Bale etc...I think plenty of top class coaches would leap at the chance...

Angry at the (short term) demise of our club of course.

But the delusion of spurs fans still continues.... what type of person really thinks Spurs are ever on our radar? Come on, really, do you think you will maintain this good luck spell you are on for much longer?

You will have to spend many millions more to win the league and until you do, you won't be taken seriously. You just don't have the money for that, nor do you have enough money to sustain how you are right now. You get yourself yet another dodgy manager after 'Arry and oh dear... bye bye Spurs yet again.

On another note, even if 'Arry stayed, what makes you think he would have continued success? Many mid table managers have a few good seasons and then drop away into nothing and get sacked.

Think about it without the rose tinted glasses for a second, you will surely see that you are delusional.

You might also see that the Arsenal are in the low of one of their cycles right now. The future is bright. The future is Arsenal.

Oh, and... Forever in our Shadow!

That all comes at a cost.

The odd season here and there in the Champion's League won't fund those kind of pipe dreams, Tommy.

Dream on though by all means...

Afterall, "Dreaming... dreaming is free."

Seems a strange article to write when neither club are likely to win anything,so spurs are better than arsenal by not getting anywhere near to winning the league but a bit closer than arsenal
Whoopee doo let's have a party

Oh the irony homanahomana....my deepest condolences!! You'll be churning out the same lines in 3, 5 years time!! Your club are on the downward spiral fella....once Wenger's gone and you cant provide CL football (coming soon!!!) players wont want to come to your team!! Very hard to rebuild for you I think!! Midtable mediocrity returning for Arsenal FC....

"and you cant provide CL football (coming soon!!!) players wont want to come to your team!!"

Why not? Some decent players went to play for muck like your club, I'm sure that fact plus our outstanding youth system should have us covered.

But the ever present, and ever true fact remains; You will always be in our shadow. I have seen nothing in the long term to suggest otherwise.

Tottenham with CL footy and Arsenal without, Arsenal still have higher revenues. Tottenham don't have the money to stay where they are. You can built a new stadium but you'll have to pay for it first, you haven't even started building yet so you're at least 10 years behind in that regard. Tottenham have hit a glass ceiling and Arsenal are as bad as we can get, and there's only 1 place difference

Reason why Spurs are where they are is because they have only concentrated on the League since the start of the season.

U guys threw aware the Carling Cup & Europa League by playing ur fringe/reserve players thus keeping ur big guns fresh for the league.

If/when u make the CL lets see how u do playing ur full strenth team 2 times a week.

If u do finish ahead of us this season i can gurantee u wont finish ahead next season.

Ur main goal thread Adebayor aint even ur player as u cant afford his wages and i doubt he will look for a pay cut.
