Fighting in ice hockey, believe it or not, is actually part of the game

posted on 22/2/12

You don't see many ice-hockey players battering the sh|t out of eachother when they're not actually playing.
-----------------------------

Well they clearly aint playing Ice Hockey when they take off thier hockey masks, pull of thier gloves and throw thier sticks to the ground to have a punch up and break someones nose. That is not part of the game!!!

Why isit accepeted and what circumstances allow for it to happen?

PLANK
----------------------------------

We're talking about Boxing but I'm putting things into perspective. Boxing involves two people punching eachothers lights out. How can you expect thier not to be tension before and after the fight?

"Boxing involves two people punching eachothers lights out."

In a controlled manner though, they don't just go out there swinging until one person connects with a knock out blow

Some actually don't do it in a controlled manner. Alot of boxers actually forget thier trainers game plan and go all guns blazing.

Bottom line is.........

I'm not saying what Haye and Chisora did was right. Ultimately is what wrong. I'm just saying alot of people are making toooo big a fuss over it and fail to put things into perspective.

If you asked anyone, what type sportsmen/woman are most likely to get into a heated and physical altercation outside proffessional grounds, the obvious answer would be boxers.

They'd be the ones who have been knocked out

Deadbeat fighters who lack real boxing talent. Sounds like Haye and Chisora.

As I said. Shock Horror.

Hope Chisora gets banned and locked up for acting like a complete and utter buffoon all weekend long. Give Haye a knighthood

Chisora's gangsta innit

There has been an over reaction but what do you expect? The scenes were shocking, but so what. Tyson and Lewis brawled. It will get people interested in this fight if Haye and Chisora were allowed. I cant see them being banned considering they Britains best heavyweights. (which doesnt say much).

Although Chisora shouldnt be fined for his disgusting antics towards the Klitschkos.

I think the boxers should of played hockey at the press conference instead...
