Titles are won by spending millions on players like Fedinand, Rooney, Nani and Berbatov.

Is this guy for real?
Titles are won by assembling a team to work hard for each other and who play as a team and not as a team of generals

Not you too Jack!

All you need is a £150 million ask Mourinho and Chelsea.

Or £500 million ask City fans next year.

Put it this way if we'd had been able to spend enough on one leg of Rio and had a defence and had the cash to have a striker that could cover for Van Persie....we'd have won the lot.

Its money, Fergie knows it, you know it.

Mourinho won a champions league on a fifth of wenger's budget with Porto: no excuses. So stop moaning

Money only gets you a certain amount of short term success. Sustained success is achieved by creating a team with a great sense of team work and camaraderie.

Teams with too many massive egos will win very little

Message to all Arsenal fans. Concentrate on your own club's immense problems. Three of your first team and captain about to leave: Fabregas,Clichy,Nasri. Too many average players like Rosicksy,Denilson,Bendtner,Song,Arshavin.
Gaping holes in your back four and no keeper.
No decent reliable keeper, ticket prices escalating and boardroom power struggle etc.
6 years and counting....

Trophies are bought, not won.
Arsene didn't spend enough to win. And that's partly his fault.

And a mortgage on their stadium

City's net spend over the last 4 seasons is about 350 mill more than Uniteds

Who won the league?

It's not just about money

That helps but tiltes are won more by players like Vidic, Evra, Park, Fletcher, VDS, Henandez

The biggest transfer of all of these was £7m for Vidic, oh how Arsenal fans would give their left nut to have Vidic in their back four .

But City, Liverpool, Villa, Spurs and Chelsea all have a higher net spend than United since the birth of the PL and none of them have dominated.

You haven't spent not because you don't have the money, but because Wenger is afraid of underachieving and therefore has an excuse and the Shareholders did not previously want to invest.

You can sit there and stagnate as a business or you can invest a little to get a better return. It's standard business logic.

Arsenal want to be a big team but act like a little one in the business sense. Don't be fooled though that once the stadium debt is paid off, you will suddenly spend massively and become successful, It won't happen.

Your best option is for Kroenke to hopefully buy out Ushmanov and then work on marketing Arsenal FA abroad. It's the only way to increase revenue. You've failed to do that up to now and that is the real reason you are getting left behind now. Arsenal FC can't be successful until they become a global corporate monster. Football has changed, stop living in the 80s and early 90s.

Don't know you laughed at my "acquired debt aside" comment. It's a mortgage that our owners took out to buy our club. Just like the mortgage you have on your ground. Both are being paid off. What's the problem?

What do you mean if? I thought you were rolling in the money. record profits, good financially run club, record levels of turnover. Just where is all this money going. Are you telling me every single penny of it is going into the stadium repayments? Where is this money going?

To the Shareholders....if you ever ask the Arsenal fans though the shareholders loved the club and never took any money!

Of course we know their wage bill and running costs are high. Add to that average success in the CL and PL and lack of trophy wins knocking down their income and you'll see it's the fans and corporate's paying through the nose who are really keeping the club afloat!

They are a wannabe Barcelona with no identity or vision themselves. They believe that they can take youth and turn it into brilliance. In reality, it's only really Henry and Fabregas whom they made into great players. The also rans run into a pretty long list!

They don't understand the benefit of blending youth and experience. Hence why the likes of Birmingham took a trophy right out of their hands!

By the way OP do you mean "WENGERS CLASS" as in he is a teacher and has a "class".

Or do you mean "WENGER'S CLASS" as in he IS class?

Either way I suggest you return to the classroom and continue your lines on the blackboard.

Vintage Arsenal, aka whatnext is a serial wum who can be traced back to the old 606

There's a WUM and then there's a PLUM. WhatNext/Vintage Arsenal falls into the second category. His attempts are extremely poor!
