from russia with love £7million hope it's near the salt mines and freezing cold
another £7 mill for our great leader mrs dead eye desi
and her band of brothers
Lost your best CB's in Samba and Nelson. Oh dear not looking good
No its not but Samba hasn't gone as yet so still hope there. Otherwise we could sayChelsea have lost another manager if you only believe internet rumour...
To be honest I dont see this happening
If Samba is not playing for us Rovers may as well sell Samba, but i can't see
Mrs Samba being happy with this who would want to go to Russia

-----------------------------------------------------
If only we had a fantastic CB partnership like Cahill and Luiz.
Apparently he has now gone, anyone know more on this?
Agree about letting him go, but only at the right price. No reason we should get ripped off when he still has over 3 years on his contract.
No need to be touchy lads,I'm not having a dig.
I just find It strange that you have sold your best defenders and haven't replaced them when you're in a relegation battle
strange doesn't even begin to cover the goings on at our once proud club.

Don't take it personally mate, I think there's a lot of frustration among our support at the moment thats struggling to find a vent. Venkys have vanished off the face of the earth so we can't rage at them, everyone else doesn't like us slagging off Kean so we've stopped doing that, so its a case of who can we direct our anger at now?
The protest group have started getting it in the neck off some fans, Samba's become public enemy number 1, and suppose opposition fans are always an easy target.

Pretty shocked he's moving to the rich Russians Thought Spurs will end up getting him, but I do hope you lot stay up and grind out the results under Kean. Good luck guys
Going down.. going down..
Going down.. going down..

Nah you'll be ok as long as you keep Van Persie…
Two former captains gone, first Nelsen and now Samba. And for £7.5 million - that is chicken feed! If Rovers are to survive, they will certainly have to do it the hard way.
Anzhi don't want Van Persie
So our (arguably) most important player has gone.
To one of the richest clubs in the world.
With 3 years remaining on his contract.
For 7.5 million.
He should've gone for 10m at least really
£15m was what I was thinking. I'm not really sure whats going on when we have one of the best centre halves in the league over the last few years, hes only being 27, has 3.5 years left on his contract, and he fetches less than a third of the price of Jolean Lescott.
So we have Dann, Givet and Hanley to get us to the end of the season and Givet is suspended at the moment. Let's hope we don't get any injuries.
Has it been confirmed? Fed up with this. Why bother hanging on to him in the window if he's not going to play anyhows. at least he hasn't gone to QPR and given them a boost.
So three of our first choice defenders of closing last season of Nelsen, Samba and Salgado are all going to be unavailable.
At least we significantly strengthened this window. Who else has Bradley Orr!!
