Harder for England proberbly Neon
Think the pitches will be a lot harder for England with more and sharper turn i'm suspect. Going to be another test for us with men all round the bat.

Don't see ay reason why results would have changed Neon, a few wins in an ODI does not change what happened in the tests, maybe not a whitewash but i think we would still loose.
Told you this Neon, could be May, September, November, or next year! I really don't know. And until then i'm stuck as a bleedin' shop assistant

The ECB were trying to get Strauss, Bell and Prior some games in SL to help fill in their long lay off, I wonder how they fared. There's never any follow up in the news to these stories.
England have big decisions to make for the opening match, 6 batsmen or 5 bowlers and if it's 6 batsmen do they play 2 spinners and 2 seamers.
Yeh, got an almighty 4 hour shift this afternoon! Then a 9 hour tomorrow and i'll miss the Rugby

Have Sri Lanka got a mystery spinner in their ranks? If not England will win 0-2
I know all the talk is about the middle order batsmen, but strauss really will be under pressure if he doesn’t perform vs the Lankans. With England playing saffers after that, anyone else think it could be curtains for strauss this time next year??...... especially with cook showing he has the ability to lead from the front.
I think Strauss is hoping to lead England into at least the ashes next year. I hope he makes it and with few alternative opening batsmen on the horizon he probably will.
The difficulty is that if he leads for the 2013 summer Ashes, he must surely lead for the 2013/2014 series down under.
hazsa - with the cancellation of the world test championship, the ashes in OZ have been moves back to 2014-15
Lankans did not started whinging after string of losses that Aussies, SouthAfricans and English do not perform well in suncontinent and rather than waiting for retribution at their back yard, they started pondering over themselves and now are reaping fruits for it.
