I'd love us to be knocking on the door, but we desperately need to find some consistency if we're going to challenge and I think we've left it just a little too late.
Hope I'm wrong of course!
I love your optimism affordable, if you're right I'd gladly buy you a beer, even a pub!!
Can you ask the question again when we manage to win two games in a row?
In answer to your question affordable, I share your optimism. As already pointed out by one or two people, it will require a stirring run-in, with 90-minute performances of the kind City achieved during the first-half at Derby the other evening.
"Looking at our games in March…"
In the reverse of the fixtures we have in March, we beat only two of those eight teams – drawing with another two and losing to four. It's not a statistic that has me mentally labelling them 'easy meat'.
Our defence is looking solid now, but I think peltier is starting to look tiered. Pantsil needs to step up.
Fatfox i think the very reason we are playing local rivals and some teams above us in the league in March gives me a quiet confidence. The boys are going to be up for it. Its a 14 game season. Brum, Hull, Cov, Forrest, Reading, Blackpool. If there is a banana skin its Bristol City away.
I dont think the above teams have a long history of "doing the double over us".
Let me insert a hugh caveat. We are Leicester City supporters and we are all very aware how we can beat Southampton comprehensively then lose to Watford the next.
Back to Back wins ARE coming and I know my blue tinted glasses are sometimes not 20/20 but we can still do this.
BLUE ARMY !
"Let me insert a hugh caveat".
Don't you think about bringing him near me.
