One day closer to the day The Bald Clown leaves.

I'm a City fan and I'm not here to gloat but that was a dire performance from Rovers. If that's the amount of passion that Kean injects into your team then I can understand why you hate him.

Good luck with your battle as I actually like BR as a club but that was grim.

Man City's goal difference is a plus.

Inky - thanks. Happy if you guys win the league - would be nice to break up the league a bit even if I can't agree with the way you've done it.

Our biggest problem is the owners, then the manager. Hard to see either going anywhere atm.

Love that first one BRFC120. We seem to have done the opposite enough times beating the likes of Newcastle. Although this was another sweet one in recent times when we stopped them winning it:

Not many other positives to be honest except it only being 3 off the goal difference instead of 6 or 7. The next 3 games couldn't be any bigger now.

1. We won't have to play City again.

2. It's more important that we beat Wolves.

Sir Jack Walker showed the path for the likes of Manchester City.

It looks like you're developing quite an obsession with Blackburn Rovers.

Well you are quite an interesting club at the moment. Isn't that a plus?

please don't patronoise us Cit-eh fans.

We used to laugh at how 5h1te you were, when we actually won the league!

Sky are a disgrace, their coverage, analysis and comment bear no relationship to the actual scenario at Ewood!

sad, disillussioned Rovers supporter..of many, many years.

I'm pretty sure todays City would crush Sir Jack Walkers Blackburn.

Footballs moved on from the days where you just stuck two big men upfront (Sutton and Shearer) and let them batter the opposition into submission.

The quality of footballers gets better throughtout different eras. The Barcelona of today would also crush Paisleys Liverpool.

you should be in deepspace...this City have won f'all and proved nothing.

If you think that Shearer and Sutton were two big men up front and Paisley's Liverpool would succumb to the tippy tappy Barca you know less than Merson and Nicholas combined...night night and fvck off!

Difference between Rovers and City (and Chelsea) IMO is the morality of the money. I'm not trying to score points here in terms of whose investment was more deserved but I dislike the politics around the oil industry which largely finances an extremely wealthy upper class which keeps a lower/middle class subjugated by the occassional flows of money. Similarly, even if Abramovich earned his money 'honestly' and wihtin Russian laws, there is something morally wrong with his having earned enough to buy x number of super yachts whilst people in Russia starve.

There are question marks over Walker's business practices but there is a disntinct difference in between the industries.

Furthermore even in the year we won the Prem, other teams outspent us in the same year and over sustained periods. Would the same be true in Chelsea's heydey and City's present?

Don't get me wrong - I enjoy watching the 'unleashed' City, when Mancini lets loose, with Aguero, Yaya superb players. Do such conerns about morality enter my head daily? No, I earn a good wage and enjoy a good lifestyle. Worth thinking about though.

Although as garners has said...

Your 'tippy tappy' comment shows you're living in the past and don't understand modern football.

The ability to retain possession is a crucial aspect for a top side. You obviously prefer direct teams who get the ball into the box as quickly as possible.

This may have worked for Blackburn in 1995, but would never work today. Look how hopeless Chris Sutton was when he moved to a side that did not play a direct game (Viallis Chelsea.)

Sir Jack Walker considered Tim Sherwood a better player than Zidane

"Sir Jack Walker considered Tim Sherwood a better player than Zidane"

No he didn't. Its an interpretation of an urban myth "Why buy Zidane when we have Sherwood". That is like City saying "why buy Van Persie when we have Dzeko". Dzeko scores goals, does the business for City, yet the world and his wife would probably acknowledge VP as the better player. However team setups have a lot to do with players together with other outlay.

The fact that you pick this one point to post about and place a dig at garners and meself shows you're a fool.

Can't see why this thread ended in slagging each other off.
City are a quality side and if some rich oil magnet bought us he I would be over the moon.
We had our day now it's City's turn to give old red nose the finger!
Venky's/Kean out!

Positives from the game none!
22% possession must be another record for Kean.

I watched the game in the pub yesterday, one possitive was I got rather drunk, which has become a negative today, I was also talking to a very pretty girl who was a Rovers fan and new her stuff. I kind of fell in love but am sadly old enough to be her dad.

Feel free to show her to me

I could offer her plenty of comfort to take her mind off Blackburns problems.

Stick to ones on the internet deepspace, its more realistic for someone like you.

You do talk some complete rubbish by the way. It seems that because you're a self-declared "proud neutral" and you're defending poor old Kean, you think you have some kind of intellectual advantage over the Rovers fans on here.

But I'm afraid not supporting anyone and being a bleeding heart do-gooder does nothing to plug your quite substantial lack of football knowledge and moronic views. I doubt you've ever played the game at a half-decent level and are the type of "fan" that wouldn't have given football a second though pre-90s when it wasn't fashionable.

Still, continue trawling internet boards of clubs you don't spouting your pompous, uninformed rubbish and treating it as fact if that distracts you enough from not having a life.
