I've always known and enjoyed the banter across the OF divide. Despite the rivalry there have been a few occasions where the supporters have united in times of sorrow - such as Tommy Burns passing. And Ally helping to carry his coffin

What had really shocked me tho is the level of vitriol and nastiness from some quarters, starting at the very top, in Celtics moment if success.

In stead if celebrating and enjoying it. It's being used as an opportunity to kick a "man" when he's down

I know there are loads, in fact the majority, of Celtic fans who are decent people who like to exchange banter who don't feel like you. Many on here Infact who while not crying in their champers at least understand the implications of the mess Rangers are in.

Enjoy your success on the park. It's been well earned this season. A superb effort by the Celtic team on the park. But leave the genuine nastiness out. It unbecoming of champions

It's come from the very top

I mean tal of stripping previous titles. Cheap, nasty shots.

We've got behind you in times of adversity. A little respect in return would not go unmissed

What talk would that be Esc?

Examples please.

All I've read is answers to questions asked.

If it is proven you cheated then surely you as the fair man you are putting yourself across as would not want to lay claim to ill-gotten gains.
To simply suggest that justice be served is never nasty comment or in any way vitriolic.

Scotcelt

You could level that accusation at AC Milan who also used EBTs
Strip them of league and CL titles?

How about ReAL Madrid who run the biggest debt in football ? Yet pay £75m for Ronaldo

at least 4 top EPL clubsand 9 clubs in total in England are under investigation also on EBTs

This is a house of cards. Be careful what you wish for.

And?

That would be OPINION.

IF Rangers are found guilty in the big tax case then they cheated.
Cheats should be punished, unless you think otherwise.

You asked for evidence. Provided it

posted on 26/2/12

Right is right if any you mentioned have cheated then yes the same should happen to them.

Esc

Are you seriously suggesting all these clubs shouldn't be punished simply because of who they are?

How is the article you posted proof?

You provided nothing of the sort.

Hector,

Fine. You're write history books if you want. For me it's the sign of vitriol and nastiness that I claimed in my original post.

Irrespective of the outcome of EBTs it's not proof of having affected the result in those seasons.

You cannot extrapolate an extra few quid in Van Brockhorts pay packet to whether or not Rangers would have won the league. Neither can you say he wouldn't have joined.

That I'd a totally flawed argument. To talk of such retrospected action is both, silly and bitter.

Just enjoy your present success.

Esc

That's bullshiit and you know it.

posted on 26/2/12

Look at he t-shirts, banners, Neil Lennons comments. No bull. Low class stuff. Behave like champions.

posted on 26/2/12

What did Lennon say that could be described as vitriolic and nasty?

posted on 26/2/12

Worry more about the second contract side of things. If this is proven then it could turn out those players were never correctly registered in the first place.
Now that would be one hell of a can of worms.

Dear oh dear... blind loyalty at its finest. Decency and respect cost nothing.

posted on 26/2/12

So waving £10 notes at Celtic fans was respectful was it Esc?

You don't half talk some amount of sh ite.
