I would pay to see a lovefest between Neon and Afridi, they've been at each other's throats since the bbc 606 days. In my first proper cricket thread 1 year ago, they were having a tiff then.

Neon is a pain everyone should filter him. Anyway those of us that have, avoid starting match threads so as not to exclude anyone, including Neon. I removed him from filter once so he filtered me, that's the kind of person he is, don't feel sorry for him.

I can't understand the filter though, from any side. Fair enough if someone is persistently racist, hurls religious abuse against someone's beliefs or constantly veers away from cricket then fair enough, but I don't really see anyone doing that.

To be fair though, constant bickering can spoil threads, so if two people can't co-exist wihtout it, then maybe it is best to ignore each other.

JT tell that to Neon. He signs off so he can read those who have him on filter and then makes comments on their posts.

All Neon will do now is like he has been doing throughout this tour is come onto the Pak-Eng thread and just continuously laugh.

My first love of sport is rugby league....then cricket.
Unfortunately since this new 606 has taken place there is very minimal talk on the league forum and I like to keep up to date with all sports from all parts of the globe (except America)
There was once upon a time when the old forums would become very much full of hatred and racist comments, I must admit since JA606 I haven't seen any comments over the top in this regard (maybe a few fringe comments) but all in all usually sporting based wumming which is healthy for the heart to be pumped once or twice anyway...

Exactly, the original 606 was a joke. Many previous forums before 606 were also poor because of lack of moderators, but original 606 was full of awful posters as well as bad moderation.

I don't like the WUM filter. Everybody no matter how annoying should be allowed to contribute. Of course there is a limit in terms of how far someone goes but to wum filter someone just because they are annoying is silly.

JT you say the moderation on here is good but on occasions when I've made a complaint nothing happens. No e-mail to say my complaint has been received. So the filter was the only option left open.
