Saw Adam Smith a couple of times for MK Dons this season. Looks a quality player... I know it was League 1, but stand out player for them.
Yeah I've heard some great things about him. I'm sure he'll do okay if he did have to step in.
Lets just hope the Walker injury isn't serious.
Obviously its a big step up to the Premier League but could be a good player in years to come. Its a shame we've had to recall him cos a few months playing at Leeds would have done him good.
A player who has come on in leaps and bounds over the past 15 months or so.
Leeds weren't playing him anyway. I don't know why because he's easily good enough to play in their team.
Actually, Leeds were playing him, well at least until Colin took over. Leeds was a good move for him and a step up at the right time. He' s a classic example of how regular football can bring a young prospect on.
I remember him in a friendly for us and he did well in a cameo appearance, think he scored a goal if I remember rightly.
Yeah, that was a few summers ago if I recall correctly. A pre-season game ??
Just read that he set up a goal for O'Hara in a pre-season friendly against Dortmund while Ramos was in charge, must of been that?
when will we learn that the fullback positions are very important (espeically when we supposedly play with two out and out wingers), and that we must have good cover for them?
i dont think we will ever learn. a few years ago we had 4 right backs and one left back.
now we have 1 recognised left back, and 1 recognised right back.
Time to start thinking about where Caulker and Naughton are going to be in the grand scheme.
