Ah Edin you're cracking me up here, I've an hour left in work come on be mean I'm bored, and sure you didn't celebrate winning the clubs 1st trophy in years when you beat a London rival in the final, you stayed in your seat when Woodgate scored yeah?

Ah it's getting better, well it's Monday now and I'm in work, I celebrated yesterday.

No need to celebrate for 2 days as you have let us reds know it's only a little tin pot cup!

I was joking, I think it is actually a pretty prestigious cup. Not massively, but some of the teams you have to get through are hard, or was it an easy run? I dont know.

Yet I did find it odd how over the top your fans went, almost a case of 'oh how the mighty have fallen'.

I was only joking too edin, I'm obviously happy with the CC but it's only 1 cup, still lots of improvement to be made in several areas of the team.

We played all our games away from home in the run to Wembley winning at Stoke, city and Chelsea, that's the best thing about the CC win for me, we did it the hard way, also it's hard to watch but the relief of winning on pens is a great feeling, luckily we have won several finals on pens.

Bad day for Spurs yesterday but not the end of the world (It probably felt like that for you for a while yesterday) but you're still in 3rd by a decent gap and have every chance of finishing 3rd ahead of 3 clubs who claim to be bigger then you, that's got to be a good thing.

have never called it a tin pot cup

a clubs history is defined by the trophys it wins

It wasnt who we played that bothered me, its how we played. Fecking gutted tbh. For me my cycle went

sunday 4pm- Anger
6pm - Jubilation for winning my bball game
monday- fine. fine. fine.
monday 8.30- Depression

I was shocked at how much space you gave them in the 2nd half especially after bringing Sandro on at half time to try shore it up.

But performances like yesterday have been minimal for Spurs this year.

i was depressed at work today and had to give a gooner ten quid

Cant believe i gave him the draw

What bugged me kneerash is the fact that the Spurs players seemed like a bunch of spoilt children who were in a bad mood and didnt want to work anymore.

I find it funny that at first on this thread we were WUMing, now it has turned into sympathy.

You're bound to be down after loosing to a fierce rival like that but it's only 1 game in a league of 38 games, overall currently you are 7 points better off then them and thats what counts, different story if it ended a cup run or something but the great thing about the league is you can still finish above them and you know they won't be winning anything this year.

At the end of the day, I dont care if they win it. As long as we get third, which I think we will.

Do you think your performance will have spurred on Pool in the league?

posted on 27/2/12

Yeah Edin, football's great like that it brings so many emotions out in us.

I don't usually wum, just saw the opportunity to strike and took it, shame on me really but I'm really bored in work despite having a tv to watch and the internet to browse (well the majority of sites are banned, cant get on youtube, loads of sports sites, any gambling or games ones)

posted on 27/2/12

Tbh I wum occasionally, never do it straight after a loss though. Im against that.

Who knows if it can help kick us on, there are cases for the CC having both adverse and positive affects on clubs.

but I guess winning cannot be a bad thing in the overall scheme of things, we have to beat Arsenal at home on Sat to stand a chance of 4th, also Chelsea at home later in the season, I think if we can win them we have a chance of 4th but feel the same old problems of not scoring goals will cost us overall.

Were still lacking the real quality we need, the squads ok but lacks quality in several positions, I also feel loosing Lucas has had an affect on how we play, he gave our other midfielders licence to get forward more, ala Parker for yous, since Lucas got injured we have even less players in the box then we did before he got injured and even then we didn't get too many.

posted on 27/2/12

I really do think that Lucas is the one man who changes you from an average to good side. I dont get the Suarez hype, because for all his creativity Liverpool dont score much. Whereas when Bellamy (who I think is great) is on the pitch, you score more. It would be an impressive feat if you lose a player like Lucas and still get top 4 tbh.

facking hillarious after all the shadow ballacks.

posted on 27/2/12

Yeah Lucas really improved us and he was pivitol in how Kenny was setting us up.

I see where you are coming from with Suarez, he has lacked the cutting edge in front of goal that his record showed in Holland.

The best thing for me is we now have decent owners in place who see it as a project, they are also winners in their other sports ventures and don't seem to be afraid to spend.

we really need another 100 million to be spent on 3 or so real quality players to kick us up another level.

Currently there are arguably 6 teams better then us in the league and as much as I hope we can get 4th I think this will show come the end of the season.
