We fans, should not dwell on this result forever. We lost by a 3 goal margin, thats the long or short of it. It isn't the first & it wont be the last. We have to put it down to what it is, a combination of terrible individual performances.

And Friedel is far too slow. He's a calming influence on the defence but is not good enough at actually saving shots or moving out of his 6-yard box.

I agree the players owe us a game after Sunday`s shambles, I could not think of a worse team to have a nightmare against than our friends from up the road. But I think they will respond positively against United. Spurs do seem to be a completely different animal on their own pitch at WHL, where they play with pace and width, and make very few errors at the back. I think it is called Home Sweet Home.

Had he ventured 1 yard from the edge of his 6-yard box, he would have prevented Rosicky's goal (3-2) & had he tried to close the angle for one of Theo's goals, instead of running back onto his line, creating a bigger target for Theo, we may not have conceeded 5 at all.

I dont know how you cannot see he is a weak link. He realies far too heavily on defenders heading the ball in areas that are his to command.
