I don't think we'll sign either of them. Would be good, but can't see it happening. Can't see Leicester sending out Mills to a rival at this stage of the season.

I would welcome Mills into the team solid player and one we need! Reports say that NW wants to strengthen the team before Saturday but i can't see the deal been made by then!

To get promotion we need 4 good players IMO. A decent full back, a decent centre half, a decent midfielder and another decent striker.

I don't really see the point in Mills when I think about it, we have 13 games, we can't afford to sign him permanently and NW doesn't believe we'llake playoffs like a lot of fans so it's not for the 'promotion push'

Agree there 1 star this season is done for us as long as we don't go down no need to waste money on new players, or is this a new tactic by NW & KB?
Dumb down our chances of promotion but secretly they are gonna be pushing for that play off place! NW would become a legend and i think everyone would start getting of Smurfs back for making the decision to get NW in?

Hopefully that's the plan!! As optimistic as I believe I usually am I just can't see the playoffs happening, too many other strong teams closer to the mix.

The only reason I can see for the signings is trying to show ambition to get the fans back? Bringing in a 3.5 million pound defender on loan may be showing the fans where the club wants to go, then once the season tickets are bought we will see a 40 year old free agent from Slovenia come in

colin will struggle to get decent players in (same as larry) as no 1 wants to work for bates plus bates won't pay their wages. will be very surprised but very happy if we get mills, IMO

I think webber is a clever signing! We are not gonna get brilliant players in at this stage we don't have quality back up strikers especially ones that can change games but Webber is more of a an upfront untility man can play wide and in the middle to hold up balls which gives snodgrass more of a chance to be the player to change games in a free holding postion!

I could understand the above if he was "signing" permanently for us. On loan he'll still get his wages but would get a game more regularly (in theory). I'm not sure he'd have much to do with Bates or vice versa?

Don't understand this nobody will work for Bates business, maybe he's reluctant to come as he would like to fight for his place? A promising player being told he's getting shipped out maybe he wants to prove himself where he is instead of being known as a flop in Leicester?

(probably more than have turned the club down!)

Just a thought.

Bates had no problem getting world class players in at Chelsea.

Clive Chelsea were in the top flight therefore easier to attract worldclass players!

How many Worldclass championship players are there?

Exactly. So if he can get world class players to sign, why would Championship players not sign because of him?
