"if you pay for something and the company goes into admin, they don't still give you the product you have paid for. why do these people think football is any different"

Do people pay for things twice when this happens??

The playing staff is being culled.....product wont be the same either

We need to cut costs......not throw money at a bottomless pit

people don't pay for other things twice, but they don't get what they had already paid for, that money is lost.
if they want similar product, in this case an spl game, then they need to pay again, but are not forced to its a matter of choice.

what has happened I cannot do anything about.

all I'm trying to do is look at ways to generate income til the summer then we can see what we get from player sales, having said all that I have, we would need guarantees from the administrators that this would be enoigh to see us through

ek

I get where you are coming from.

But the priority here is getting Rangers back onto a stable footing for the future.

Expecting double ticket money from supporters is not going to happen every season.

We need to raise as much money as possible through cutting costs and lowering expenditure and getting the club back into a situation where it is making money on its own without extraordinary outside influence helping.

Its short term thinking that has almost killed the club.......expecting supporters to pay double would raise money aye, but it is also, very much, a short term measure.

Throwing money at a problem isnt always the answer, the club needs to learn from its mistakes here.

Also, as harsh and immoral as it sounds, what the club and the fans really want is to agree to pay off as small of a percentage of the debts as possible if a CVA can be agreed...the more money the club has before exiting admin, the bigger the percentage of the debt it will have to pay, so the club itself wont benefit much if money is pumped in now from the fans

TCD Who is blaming Celtic, I've seen no one blaming Celtic on here certainly not me. do you have a guilty conscience or something.

Ek , I would gladly give that bit extra but I think a lot of fans need clarity before giving up their hard earned cash. We need to know what the exact structure of the club will be once this mess is sorted.

Rangers fans discussing how to go forward and you can help but taking a swipe at Celtic and their fans...your club created the lampoon

See how Mr Lawell and Mr Lennon get on without Rangers and playing to a half empty stadium week in week out . Let's face it the SPL is regarded by most outside of Scotland as a micky moose league as it is.

That post reeks of looking elsewhere for your ills

Wow, what a fool this OP is.

The club doesn't pay it's taxes and can't afford the wages, all self-inflicted problems. So the solution is to cheat the anerage Rangers fan out of money?

I don't understand that at all.

Celtic would be seen in their true light...the pioneers of Scottish football.Vanquishing the combatative, win-at-all-costs establishment ways of playing football, to the tippy-toe, drop of the shoulder, pass to feet theory.

Scottish football will benefit from the loss of Lee McCulloch types
