He's given us a lot of years. Good luck to him.
And he'll get Champions League football out of it
All the best Joe Yobo! Once a Blue....
Great servant, but for me, too often, his feet appear to be at odds with his legs.

A fine assesment of the guy. Times he could be amazing, other times he could be Sunday league level. I guess it removes the loss during ACN time, with our wafer thin squad it can only be a good thing.
If only we moved him on last summer and made a move for S Taylor at Newcastle, ah well!
We've also got a couple of good prospects at the academy. Hammar and Cummins both just 18. Duffy will be coming through this season as well.
I would have expected Duffy to make the team last season on a few occasions without his injury.
Thought his loan term was based on a £6 Mill transfer! They offered £2 or £2.5 Mill so a compromise would be more like £4 or £4.5 Mill. For me he was one of our best defenders.
Really, one of our best? Can have good moments, but not enough
One of best defenders?!
Jags, Heits, Distin all better CB's. I love Joey though. I hope he gets some CL footy and does well
He helped play his
Part in the development of the side. Wish him well and would welcome
Him back as an opponent with fond

Back to sit on the bench?
Time for him to move on sadly, plus is ACN this winter? Let's get a player we won't loose for 6 weeks in Jan in.

But then you have two (johnny and yobo) on the benc hearning 100k between em and slowing Duffy and Mustafi development.
Could have had S Taylor for £4m if he was sold last summer. Younger and just as good win-win is lost.
