I've said already, and we are all aware, that Gerrard played some part against Holland.
-----------------------
That isn't the argument. The argument is that he pretended to be injured so he didn't have to take part any longer.

Will you be happy with the accusations which will no doubt follow the Arsenal game, if Gerrard starts?

I would doubt it and this is an even worse accusation. Blaming him for disrespecting Speed, who tragically died, would need to have concrete evidence in my opinion, without making yourself look very bad indeed. I mean we aren't the FA are we? Balance of probability and all that crap?
===

I've already said to Arab Manc that I wont blame Gerrard for trying. Bale knows better than any doctor if he could have played or not. People know their own body. I thought that if there was a possibility that he could play then he would have.

No. The quote I used was: Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says that Gareth Bale will be fit to face Manchester United on Sunday. Bale missed Wales' friendly defeat by Costa Rica on Wednesday with a hamstring strain.

From the BBC.

What has yu knowing when and where you were got to do with it.

As a team mate, manager and friend I suspect Speed meant more to Bale.

To call him a disgrace for not playing in a game if disgusting, I am Welsh too and Speed was a hero of mine also.

I do not however condem Bale having no facts to base accusations on.

Statement from Javier:

First of all I would like to thank everyone so much for all the help and support I have received during these last few minutes.

Thank you to my family, my friends and everybody at LFC (the staff, manager and coaching staff, the directors, my team mates and everyone who is working on a daily basis for this great club) and thank you especially to all the fans who made sure I never felt let down for one second. During the last hour I understood more than ever what 'You'll Never Walk Alone' means.

Like many of you I was born into a very humble family, in a working class neighbourhood, in a small country (Wales). But I was born and raised learning what respect, manners and sacrifice mean. Thanks to my family, from my first club where I started playing, to my transfer to the dog and duck pub FC, I learned the values which made me the person I am now. Never, I repeat, never, have I had any problem with a team mate or individual who was of a different opinion to mine. Never.

I am very upset by all the things which have been said during the last few minutes about me, all of them being very far from the truth. But above all, I'm very upset at feeling so powerless whilst being accused of something which I did not, nor would not, ever do.

In my country, means the world to people (apart from Giggs) and I do have a lot of respect for Gareth Bale. Based on this, everything which has been said so far is totally false.

I will carry out the suspension with the resignation of someone who hasn't done anything wrong and who feels extremely upset by the events. I do feel sorry for the fans and for my team mates whom I will not be able to help during the next few hours. It will be a very difficult time for me.

The only thing I wish for at the moment is being able to comment on JA606 again and to do what I like most which is commenting with everyone.

Thank you very much.

Yet you freely call someone a disgrace? Wow

I just find this article embarrassing to be honest. I really wish it wasn't on the Liverpool board. For the purpose of the intention of the OP, it may be better suited to the Spur board.

"He DID"

Fair enough then.

The Article should be removed.

He claims he wasn't even there - he was.

He asks why Bale didn't walk on the pitch and Ramsey did - this is because Ramsey is the Welsh captain. This would have been decided by the FAW. Do you really think Bale had a choice in this?

Just remove the whole article.

Is the OP having some sort of breakdown?
