Some bizarre views on this post.

People are trying to say Juventus are a great team, virtually top of Serie A etc etc, and at the same time claiming an 18 year old reserve/youth CM with close to no first team experience is apparently going there because he will get instant first team football.

You have to be short of a few cells to think this has anything to do with first team football. It has everything to do with cash.

If United are offering 20k pw, the italians are obviously willing to offer substantially more to make it worth the agent and player's while, and sadly 45k sounds like an amount that might do that. A more scrupulous agent would tell Pogba to sit tight, and yes the player should have a brain but 18 year olds are quite easy for experienced people other than family members to manipulate, especially agents who's whole life is about persuading people to do things.

If Pogba at 18 years old leaves, without being patient at all, chasing a short term buck, when he is on the verge of making the United first team, with only players like a 37 year old close to the end of his career ahead of him, and others like an ageing Carrick, a sick Fletcher, a worn out Park, and a fat Anderson, then he's not the type of character you want a the club. Only Cleverley is real competition for him long term.

It's a shame as I rate him hugely, but he's clearly an Anelka type if he goes.
