I stopped reading here mate: "had 3 chances and scored 2 goals".

Arsenal had 10 shots, 7 on target. We had 4 on target.

We need someone like Cavani, natural finisher, Carroll might not be ready yet, and needs a few years to mature
No matter the cost, we need Lucas & new striker for a shot at 4th.

We had more shots on target than you did, 7 4 to us.

Problem is, if we buy a forward who eill drop out the squad?

Gerrard
Adam
Lucas
Henderson
Spearing
Downing
Bellamy
Carroll
Suarez
Kuyt

We will need to play a different formation so one out of these players will drop out

Problem today was Carra went to sleep twice and Van Persie murdered him. Also Riena should have saved 2nd goal.

we'll just have to concentrate on the FA cup now and amend the side in the summer.

we have to sign huntelaar from shalke. scored 26 goals in 46 games for them. him and suarez formed a partnership together when they were with ajax so they will have a good understanding. the pair notched up 50 goals in 33 games for the them. £20million for a striker who WILL score goals for liverpool.

also would like us to sign a rapid winger. maybe affelay from barcelona. he wouldn't cost very much as they got him 3million euros. he doesn't play regularly for them either so 10million max should be enough.

huntelaar and afellay for a combined 30million.
sell maxi for 4million
sell carroll if anybody wants him

I dont think you can solve problems this big. If you spend £80m on players who wouldnt get in most league 1 teams then of course you are going to be battling norwich for 7th. Carroll, downing, adam, henderson...everyone knows how terribly average they are....everyone except liverpool of course.

Yea Huntelaar and Afellay will relish the chance of playing for a once great team who get nowhere near champs league for very little money! You're following Pompey and Leeds' model of spending big for a trophy! Instead of building a team and encouraging youth.

PS. Arsenal scored 3 goals and aside from the OG and penalty you hit the target twice! Not exactly domination!

FUnny you guys want cavani. Thats about as realistic as us signing messi. Seriously. hahahah. But the funny thing is that most scouse fans would probably not rate cavani. I promise you they all dont realise that if he joined he would be 2x better than anyone else in their average line up

if we had scored just our penalties this season. we would be 3 points behind arsenal with a game in hand not 10. we aren't a million miles off fourth place. 1 striker to put the ball in the back of the net and we're in business. you can't say that we don't create chances.

how do you solve Liverpools problems?

Get a new manager, preferably someone that knows the club inside out.
Buy 2 strikers, 1 with international experience and one for the future, preferably the 'next big thing'
maybe a couple of quality Midfielders, preferably ones that have played in the Prem before and know what it's about.
Might have to spend about 100 mil...
hmmm... oh you did that already....

Suarez came to us with a decent scoring record, yet everyone is judging him already before the season is out.

Anyone remember when rooney had a long barren spell? All the BS chatted about him then? Suarez will find decent form, although you could really argue that apart from the miss opportunities he's got spark and flair that would be welcome in *any* team.
