I was chuffed he played against us today.
He's box office gold!
Never know what he's going to bring to the party(literally as well!)
Can't say that about many players thesedays.
Good luck City for the remainder of the season, not far to go now.

According to the toilet papers he was going to be dropped by an incredulous manager who was enraged by his antics.

Or they could just be talking utter spurs! A steaming pile of hotspur!

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini says striker Mario Balotelli, who scored in City's 2-0 home win against Bolton, could be heavily fined if he is found to have broken a club curfew.

Mancini not a happy chappy with "super mario" then.

He missed 4 sitters, I hope Bobby grounds him for a month.

This is all bull as far as I'm concerned.

Surely fitness tests are carried out before a game, to ascertain whether a player is ok to play or not.

If so, and if Balotelli passed such a test (which if it exists would surely have been the case considering he started today), then it doesn't matter whether he was out last night until 3am, out until midnight, or not out at all.

Something odd about the story. However if true he deserves a major areas kicking.

oldnewtonheath- closet blue- no, just a bit jaded with the stereotypical modern day, "tow the party line dullard footballers" that could all ba the result of churning all the players in the prem. in a food processor.
Just meant to say let's not forget the game is about ENTERTAINMENT.

I thought it was on Thursday night Friday morning not last night.

I have to laugh at some of the pundits going on about this. The very same pundits who played were doing far worse in their day to all of a sudden become "saints".

He'll learn and move the club to his pad for the night, far cheaper than two weeks fine.

He's been caught at a nightclub the night before todays game

Well actually it was 2 nights before todays game. Ok technically it was on a friday but it was the evening of the thursday and the early hours turned out to be 1.00am. Total bull tbh and glad he scored today (did they mention if he scored on thursday or not? )

If he was there then he shouldnt have been. They have a curfew that no players are aloud out late within 48 hours before a kick off, so they are fresh, if he did this before a match with United it could have cost us.

Yes he scored today and to be fair he had a decent game, but he missed chance after chance, a bit unluckily but they are chances he would bury normally.

Maybe it didn't effect him, I am all for his larking around at the right time, but when he should be turning his attention to a football fixture for City then he should be more professional.

That said I hope a big deal isn't made of it, Mancini will have a chat with him, the club will fine him and then it will be in the past.
