"Don't talk to me about 4-5-1 against the likes of QPR"

I think against QPR that would be considered 433...

You know, like Barca..

But hey.... Pep Guardiola... What does he know about attacking football..

We've scored one goal in our last 5 Prem games.

Maybe if we go all out attack we may score two in our next five?

We can hope

Bogdan's foot is bruised tonight from constant hoofing the backpasses.

I don't think a loss to Man City odd a cause for damage limitation. Neither is out current position.

451 is still the way to go for me. With Muamba, NRC and Mavies in midfield.

The Wigan game proved without question that we cannot go 442 we all new (except Owen) that we would lose as the team was announced. Ditto QPR Muamba NRC minimum requirement.
You must be deluded to think with our Strikeforce we can go gung ho

If I hear the team news on my way down to the 'Bok on Saturday and Muamba has been left out, I'll go back to the car and drive home.
Game over, season over.

Things are desparate now..If we dont beat QPR then as far as I am concerned we are fizzy pop bound...
This team has no confidence and OC overhypes the so called positives.......

Way I see it...

We play attacking football...we lose by a bigger margain than if we go more defensive.

What you should be asking is...do you want to see us lose with a whimper or lose looking like we are trying to score?

Tough one...

I find it hilarious that after being the victim of constant attacks on the old 606 last season, Muamba is now the player everybody loves and who everyone wants in the team and is seen as integral to our hopes of staying up.

No wonder us football fans get accused of being fickle beyond belief.

i reckon 1-4-5-2. is our best formation.oops thats 12.

Sick of the constant chamges in team and formation...lets just face it, nothing works...i didnt expect anything today but really, can u see us staying up? Other teams seem to be able to get the odd point ...we dont, lose against qpr and im gonna start watching the football league show...

............

What I have realised is that in his time here I have actually missed how important a job he does. Granted he is a liability with the ball at his feet but never underestimate the job he does for the team unless your name is owen coyle.

Hi all. I've been away for a few weeks but have tried to follow the board via mobile phone. I haven't commented because to be honest I'm US at texting and besides, everyone seems to be covering what I wanted to say.

Anyway, personally I don't see a 2-0 loss to Manchester City as a disaster nut of course any defeat is unwelcome when we are in such a precarious situation.

Has Owen offered any kind of explanation for the team selection? I only ask because I do have to agree it seemed odd on paper and I wondered why Ricketts was in the wrong place as well. By the way I did a little digging on Ream and it transpires that he has played at CM before (at youth level he was actually central attacking midfielder) but again, it seemed an odd choice albeit perhaps justifiable.

Anyway, as no one else around us won we didn't find ourselves too far adrift and I hope and pray that we can now go on and grab vital points in our next three 'winnable' games.

And of course we still have the sixth round of the FA cup to look forward to so it's not ALL doom and gloom. Keep the faith lads and lasses. The trotters and Owen Coyle are not done yet. By all means moan on her as petrov and others have said but in the Reebok let's raise our voices in support and be the twelfth man the lads in white so badly need.

My view

There are 2 points separating the bottom 5 times so we are all still in with a shout. A win against qpr is a must and then power on from there.

We will finish in 17th place and 4 points clear of safety

You heard it here first. And then next season with a full firing team I expect top 12

Ricketts out of position at left back

=======================

I'm confused!! Where were you expecting him to play? Sorry if I've missed something obvious, I missed the game cos of work.
