Lustig: first game after a long absence and injury. He's a Swedish internationalist not used to the Scottish game. Will come good IMO.
Blackman: sorry, have to disagree. If he starts another game for Celtic I will be very surprised.
Agreed, Lustig did not look match fit in my opinion, though. He has not played much football in a while and he was still called up to the Sweden squad during the week.
We missed Broony today, and Wanyama made a huge difference when he came on.
Throwing them in at Aberdeen away I don't think was a great move. Especially without a full strength cm
when did we sign Blackman anyway?
Blackman looked tidy on the ball, but his positional sense was non-existent. He is a boy, though, so maybe he'll improve. Lustig looked like a second division player
NautiusAlotus, a couple of months after izzy got injured. He was a free.
Chicken in a basket, I think Lustig needs to get used to our game more. He did look a bit out of sorts today.
Blackman for me looked to have plenty of running in him...And he's got skills. Not a bad wee player. His temperament looks suss though.
Debut's for both of them, no point writing anybody off after 1 game. I thought they both looked like they could do a job. Cant see Matthews or Izzaguire losing their places to them though.
Lennon didn't start Cha, because he is clearly not going to be part of the long term plans of the club. Lustig will. Blackman was started because Lennon may not have judged him yet, to see if he shall stay or go in the summer.
I don't think we will let Cha go. He's got pace to burn and Lenny does rate him.
Agree with OP - Lustig looked lost on a football pitch. But i'll give him some time.
Think that the lad Blackman could be a player. Looks very raw though, goal wasn't his fault. In fact, credit to him for getting over to cover for others in defence who made mistakes.
whats happening with izzaguire, was he on international duty today? Hope he gets back to his best soon
Zilla - I think that Blackman waoss obviously pumped up today. Rightfully so, he's making his debut for Celtic! Lets not forget how big we are. He needs to calm down a wee bit right enough.
We missed Brown big time today.
Timinator, I think some players didn't even make it back in time for the game. Izzy included.
No1Pie, aye, the team nearly always miss Broonie when he's out.
He's turned into a good leader and a better player....Even more so when he's playing beside Victor.
i think we missed sameras!!
his pace and height would have been useful
plus broon is massive loss hope there bothh back next week at utd
bhoy67,
We missed Broonie big time today.
There is nobody in our squad as industrious as him.
We would not have drawn today if he was there.
Dal
Hope he's back for our run of games coming up.
Wee James looked off colour today too. Pity we couldn't give him a rest after the international game.
Zilla - I think Brown was rested for the Cup games. He has bad ankles and unfortunatly, won't play every game we play.
Forrest is maybe a bit burnt out. A wee rest would do him good, these big games coming up may just be at the wrong time for the lad. Hope not though.
It's difficult for young players playing under 19's then coming up and being expected to be playing well for every game, 50 games a season.
Just a wee blip from the lad.
Lets not forget how big we are

Lets not forget how big we 'were'
No need to thank me for your massive typo
ah think Forrest has been off the boil for a few weeks, think he definetly need a rest.
I've heard many managers saying that when a youth is coming through you should give him around 20 games a season until he's got good experience.
James is looking jaded, so hopefully Brown can come back from his groin injury soon and play on the right side for a couple of weeks....Gee the wee man a break.
