If we win today we need City to slip up once (ideally against us). If we don't win today we'll also need them to lose a game (and they've got Arsenal, Chelsea & Newcastle to come). Don't panic

City face a much more difficult run of away games in the run in.

They could easily drop points at Stoke, Swansea, Norwich, Arsenal or Newcastle so I wouldnt be too quick to put everything on this match.

The derby in April is the big one and I reckon we could turn them over!

To be honest City will probably win the prem by a good 10 points.

They look to have had their blip while players were at ACON and managed to stay top during that period.

I can only see them pushing on now.

From today onwards we should just hussle for the maximum points regardless of the quality of the play

Don't worry, you will win.

The good thing is it is in man utd hands. We need our tradenark end of season run. Does anyone remember the 2002-03 season where went on that incredible run to win premler league by 5 points.

This was the pfa young player of the year which shows you these players turned out quite good.

Wales Craig Bellamy Newcastle United
England Jermain Defoe West Ham United
England Jermaine Jenas Newcastle United
Republic of Ireland John O'Shea Manchester United
England Scott Parker Charlton Athletic
England Wayne Rooney Everton

I think scholes going on about maybe having to win every game is a good sign. The 09-10 season in the league was painful as we did well all season led with 4-5 games to go lost to chelsea but the draw against blackburn cost us it all. Funnily enough we beat man city away tottenham home sunderland away stoke home but we couldn't beat blackburn away which is so annoying.

I hope you win today as it'll be even more satisfying when we spank you down again at our place.

Should have been 10 ???

Funny it was 3.1 after 88 mins and we had been playing with ten men, legs had gone and you got 3 goals.

Where you get it should have been 10 from I don't understand.

2x pens turned down and a couple of clear cut chances should have gone in.

Have to settle for 1-6 though, what a humiliating scoreline that is.

Yes it was but its also in the past, revenge will be the key

Remind me of Liverpool fans when they beat us 1-4 a few years ago.

This season has thrown quite a lot of strange results, the 1.6 the 8.2 Chelsea losing 5.3 to arsenal and spurs 5.2 against arsenal

City haven't yet been soundly beaten but there's always a chance it could happen.

Theres a reason we havnt been soundly beaten and you have, it's because we are much better than you and you guys are relying on 40yr olds to chase our tails as the rest of your squad isn't actually that good

But then again, we haven't spent half a billion pounds on players. You should be embarrassed that you don't have the league already wrapped up.

At least were not half a million in debt (and growing), you ought to be worried.. Tick tock

posted on 4/3/12

Half a million? 500k? And growing?
It would help if you had a clue what you were talking about. I didn't think it would be so easy to make you look like a tool, in fact I didn't have to do anything.

Don't let a little typo invalidate an entire point, half a billion and growing, must be nice knowing the imaginary Ronaldo pot went straight into the back pocket of your owners, whom I must admit are doing and a fine job of sucking the life out of your club haha

Tick tock

Growing? It's been steadily coming down, I think it stands at about 300mil from 600mil.
As I said, it would be better if you had a clue what you are talking about. See, you've made yourself look like a tool again. This is too easy!!

Am I missing something

The Premier League club said debt was £439m at the end of 2011, less than the £508m reported 12 months previously.

I make that the debt being cut by £68m. Funnily enough if we had spent as much as city did under the glazers our debt would be uncontrollable probably £1.5bn in debt and rising.

Funnily enough city will have lost more money after this season then man utd have left of the debt.

City actually probably have lost more money under sheikh mansour then we have left of debt. Then again city are a small club.

It would be even more funny if city don't win anything. That will be the most biggest underachievement in football history. Chelsea with less spend back then ran away with titles. Luckily mancini isn't a good manager like mourinho or SAF is.

Mancini funniest moment we need to buy buy to win lol when poor arsene wenger doesn't spend big even losing his big players.

City win one cup and have been top of the league for a few games and their fans think they're a great club.

posted on 4/3/12

Haha you guys are so easy to wind up, spiralling debts, lost another 100m in past 6mnth, most of that was repaying debt.

Any of our players would walk into your first team, we are superior in every department
