What? He could have won the game for Liverpool yesterday. He had 4 or 5 great chances.
If you swapped RVP and Suarez shirts yesterday, Liverpool would have won.
great chances which he made himself tho' their keeper was the only difference bteween a 4-1 scoreline that and the fact we cant score from 12 yards, that doesnt help
I don't think he's the type to do a Torres. He was restrained when negotiating his Liverpool move from Ajax and the Ajax fans still support him.
However if Real or Barca came in Luis would have the same temptation as any player who gets an opportunity to play for Europes best.
As far as if he's too good for Liverpool, well no he's not, it's more a question of whether some of the other players such as Carroll, Hendo and Downing are good enough for Liverpool.
Keep on blowing those monkeys
I have thought a lot of times this season that the majority of our players are not on the same wave length as him, Maxi, Bellamy and Enrique aside no one seems to second guess what he's going to do.
The worst IMO is Carroll, Suarez must tear his hair out coming back from international duty where he's been playing with Forlan and Cavani to linkup (or not as the case may be) with Carroll.
This does not however excuse his poor shooting, he's scored everywhere else he's played so it can't be that he's not potent in front of goal it's just not quite happening for him here
I'd also point out, rightly or wrongly. The club and supporters have backed Suarez from heaven to hell so for anybody to say is he too good for the club is quite ignorant.
It doesn't matter who makes his chances, he missed them, and he misses them on a regular basis. Don't forget Liverpool totally outplayed Arsenal yesterday, Suarez couldn't have asked for better chances to win the game imo.
i don't blow monkeys, its a new gadget from apple
Luis cuts at times a very frustrated figure on the field with his constant waving at his fellow Reds to support him in whatever he is trying to do. The suspensions have cost him dearly, performance- wise; he hasn't got the same touch. That having been said however, he is most certainly on the way back. That dribble in the penalty box, leaving three Gooners mystified and then nearly scoring was reminiscent of THAT assist against Them when Dirk tapped it in. Will he leave? No, in my view. He's a man on a mission, he wants to show what he can do for LFC. YNWA JimmyTheRed
He does have some serious skills.
Too good? No, he's one of the biggest offenders in the whole inability to score thing Liverpool have going on this season, he has something like an 8% conversion rate of chances to goals which is far too low for a forward of his calibre.
Swap him for Aguero and Liverpool would be in the top 4
Swap him for Rooney. RVP, Aguero, or Tevez and Liverpool are top 4.
The Yak has the best conversion rate in PL you know...
He's just a buck toothed paul Dickov
We certainly don't have enough players on his wavelength.
Too many of our other attackers are predictable. They are not bad, and on a good day can all contribute, but you can pretty much guarantee their movement and pass selection.
Luis does the unexpected, and needs someone up there with him who has the same level of movement.
Unlike others though I don't think this is lost on the club, and fully expect this to be addressed in the summer. Whoever signs needs to be the right man though, or next season won't be any different to this.
Great Diver though. Even Hansen and Shearer agreed on that.
He is not good enough for marid or barca
6 league goals this season - the most overated player in the PL.
Nice dive again btw.
No he's not too good. He is overrated. He's like another reyes.
