Liverpool fans crucify me for having a go at Carra but he is not up to it and never has been.
He broke into the team and was boooed off the park everytime he played, a bit like Lucas was, then people said lets get behind him he is a local lad etc and instead of booing him he became a hero.
Only Drogba has more goals against Liverpool than Carra in the last 30 years or so
People talk about the CL final in 2005 when he had cramp but they dont talk about him being at fault for all 3 of the Milan goals
He loves Liverpool and seems like a top bloke but he IN MY OPINION is way short of being a prem player...sorry
Coates,Wilson and Kelly are all CB's, you not see any of them good enough to step up?
I think we should have more confidence in them than we have shown, perfect time to bring them through, but we have loaned out Wilson which is a shame.
im not convinced by wilson and the one or two times i saw kelly at centre back, he was awful. maybe we should have signed cahill ...
Agreed, I thought it would have been mentioned on "Match of the Day", but it wasn't.
I've said it for a while now - he no longer has the pace.
He spends half his time wrestling the attackers coz he can't keep up with them.
He was the main culprit in yesterdays defeat and he should step down while we can still find good memories about him.
Kenny has been brave putting him on the bench but like LFC!!! says, when I saw him with the captains armband on I thought we were going to have a tough game.
It's too tough a league to carry him and at his age he's not going to improve as time goes by.
What an immense player Hyypiä was, when he left Carra was in deep trouble, legend but, imo Coates is already better. He's a Copa winner and Uruguay international, he just needs to get a run of games, he's steel

On reflection, and we are all wiser after the event, it was a mistake for JamieC to play, especially against a consistently top club like Arsenal. I fully agree that Coates should be given his chance, I still rate Wilson, and Flannaghan inspires. JamieC? Not even on the bench again, ever. JimmyTheRed

Someone needs to let Carra know that the fat lady is singing............i don't think he will go willingly, i believe that he will be greedy and try to squeeze another 1 year contract, he wont think for the good of the club...........wait and see.
