#BringBackAVB

Some chelsea fans make you laugh. AVB record at porto was incredible. He has virtually a similar squad with 2-3 differences against last years squad. This year the pace at the top is more better as well. Man utd were miles clear of chelsea but in the end it went down to 3 points with chelsea 1 win away from being top.

Its amazing that carlo and jose are in charge of 2 other wealthy teams outside of chelsea and man city and anzhi. PSG spent big Real madrid spent big and both are doing as expected. AVB unforunately and many managers will struggle. I personally think abramovich sees man utd challenging with 38 and 37 year old midfielders and thinks why can't we lol

Carlo said he would have signed pirlo, but instead we got romeu.
Carlo also wanted Pedro Leon or Arda Turan and we got Mata instead. Big differences there in quality.
People have more sympathy for Avb because of how Player power ruined him rather than him just being a bad manager. When the players were behind him, we were getting results but because he got on the wrong side of the old guard thats why his time ended. He had his flaws, but certainly think he could have done the job. Anyway who cares now

AVB

Avb has got nothng on Carlo, Carlo's experience with big players and big club targets was demonstrated in his doublw winning season and in how he managed to steady the ship after the wilkins sack I don't see the fragile avb weathering such a storm.

Don
-----------

Romeu was not a direct replacement for Pirlo mate! Carlo said he wanted to sign Pirlo when he first arrived during our double winning season. He had no plans to sign Pirlo last summer. Infact Carlo never had any major plans to let us know who he would've signed this summer due to the fact he was sacked immediately after the final game of the season.

As much as I like Mata, hes just another player. I don't care who we sign, as long as the manager makes the team work in a coherent fashion and produces the results a BIG club like Chelsea expect and deserve.

Also Don, player power ruined AVB because of just that. Hes not that great of a manager, not a bad one either, but he is definetly overrated. He clearly has no great style of man management and that was his downfall.

We all think Hiddink is a legend and the that is due to his excellent man managment into motivating these set of players to play to thier potential. AVB could not achieve that and with the addition of his poor tactics and subs it was always going to fail.

Also Don you say we were getting results when the players were behind AVB??? How consistent were these results? You can say that every team above us in the league have put in a few convincing and courages wins/performances this season.

Chelsea haven't had one. Ok I'll be fair, City (despite luck going our way) and Newcastle (we left it till the last 10mins to win the game) were our only decent wins this season.

I'm afraid your job is to not get on the wrong side of the old guard. Your job is to keep them motivated.

No in an interview after being sacked a few months ago he said that he planned to bring Pirlo to the bridge in summer as he was out of contract i believe. That would have meant no Romeu as they play in the same position.

After the first 10 or so games we were being talked about as the underdogs and a threat to city, remember that qpr game where every player ran there socks off and produced that great performance after the sending's off? His tactics to start off with were good, but then the players turned on him which is what led to his downfall. He got on the wrong side of the old guard by not playing them, what a crime that is ayy?

Thats why we have sympathy
