I know AVB didnt turn out as we hoped but who do you think put more effort into their job and who tried the most to earn the money you as a fan pay through your season ticket?
I dont recall any stories about the players staying after training sessions to try and improve or players working extra hard in training or coming in early to improve results. AVB was taking the full force of the criticism, working 16+ hours a day, sleeping in the training ground, staying there for 3/4 days ina row without going home while majority of the players were getting off scot free. Yeh he wasnt right for the job but it stinks how he was trying hard to please pretty much everyone and the players didnt give a toss about anyone but themselves.

Terry or lampard didnt even care about their own wifes, so hardley lightly to care about the manager or clubs fans

Good to hear from proper fans and not plastics.

It's "wives" not "wifes","hardly" not "hardley" and "likely" not "lightly" ......
And BTW Frank's not married (just like you )..... moron ....
Yeah I agree with BK .... it's just you
BTw dont think im switching sides here now. I was very critical of avb and his tactics, starting line ups etc during the season. I now realise whatever players he picked, it would have been the same result. My fault for thinkin Lampard Essien & Cole would actually improve the team but stil this job came too early for aVB imo.

Njoyin reading mo of your krap
Mr C
I'm glad AVB is gone for one reason only ..... I seriously feared for his health
Too obsessive and too much too soon
Wish him well though

you'd better f off then cos we ain't enjoying your presence on here
What exactly will RDM do though he isnt exactly gonna win you trophies wouldnt it have been better to keep AVB till end of season as RDM is much worse
Mr Chelsea
You do have a heart afterall
you'd better f off then cos we ain't enjoying your presence on here
Aaaah dont be upset ch.v
U lot deserve all the sh.t u r getting
Well the benefit we now have as fans is a scapegoat. If we do end 5th as expected - it was his falult. If Di Matteo gets them playing - it was his fault.
We've been given a good reason to live in self delusion until the summer. But if we don't replace the squad, we get to condemn and setback another manager's career. Exciting
Well said MrC
AVB never had a hope from the start with some of egos he would have to deal with.
Some od the Chelsea playersshould be ashamed of themselves. I personally believe you have lost someone that would have tranformed Chelsea eventually. Sadly, RA want's it today or else
I see Chelsea eventually dropping out from being a top 4 club which is ridiculous considering RA spent 120m last year alone
Too many owners sack managers without realising how good they actually are.
Sam Allerdyce was a joke of a sacking at Blackburn. Look at them now. Same with Bolton.
Ancelotti would have had you challenging for top spot this season. Ridiculous sacking
Wolves sacking McCarthy? The Fulham result hardly makes that idea look good
In truth, we could go on and on with clubs who plummet more after a manager has been sacked.
RA needs to swallow some pride and get Wilkins back in there to bring back a little harmony
Do you have any patience at all?
