Sell em cheap and bring in loanees, and we're supposed to be building a team for the future.

Supporters are fed up with being told we can't be expected to beat sides with larger wage bills, should know our place and when we reach fifty points turn off,

I remember Hill claiming he would be out to win every game. What happened at Coventry.

We don't buy a season ticket for two thirds of the season.

Never mind we'll be the only club in the division showing a profit and when we're in League one Rowing will still be claiming the crowds will return and Hill still playing to the media and talking in riddles..

We should aspire to be in Leicester's position...They have just announced a loss of £45m....Or Birmingham or Coventry, both placed under a transfer embargo. Several other clubs are cacking themselves as FFP rapidly approaches.

But, humour me Uboat, give us your financial master-plan for our club...

Spot on Spart, some cluds are still spending big and too big to chase the prem, I said in a previous thread that lower league players are not a waste and I mentioned Norwich and now Saints look as if they are going to pass through this league with lower league players, they just need time to play as a team. U7380, Keith Hill said we cannot compete with higher waged clubs as in paying high wages not we cant beat clubs with higher wages, and we are building a team for the future which will include quite a few of the youngsters we have(every club has loaned players in the squad) We have played some teams off the park this season, admit not all the football has been good but I for 1 am happy with the position we are currently in,we are not and have not been threatened all season with relegation (what a change and relieve) Keith Hill mentioned in his Forest post match interview that some fans are still having a go at C Davies and it will be the same fans that complain when he is sold in the summer (God hope it doesnt happen, we have a striker that could score at least 15 goals this season something we have needed for years but then again we did get him from the lower leagues, cant be good enough sell him). I dont agree with everything that KH does and says but at the end of the day he is the manager and we have to give him time and also give the players time to build an understanding with each other and play as a team and not expect them to be world beaters after a few games. Some fans really need to get a reallity check. Like Spart mentioned just look at the situation that Leicester,Brum and Coventry are in and some more are to follow,do we want to be in their position? not really

Up the reds

as a response to the thought of Nouble putting on a reds shirt again

at Spart for actually thinking that uboat will come back with a great financial plan.

Hey...only fair to give the man a chance, after all he could be a financial genius. But until he amazes us, we'll assume Uboat's an investment..... "Banker"

Sky Sports have just added it to their site too...

I also noticed that the article has mentioned that he's out of contract at the end of the season and West Ham haven't offered him a new deal as yet....

Lets give the lad another go. Were screaming out for some pace either upfront or out wide. With decent service from wings Davies would have more than his 11 so far.O'brien is out for season so him and cotterill on wings could do some damage.

Well, Jay Rodriguez and Chris Wood have been banging the goals in this season, and they were both hopeless when they played for us so who knows?

I can only imagine we are bringing Nouble for cover, there is no way I would play him ahead of Davies or even Gray.

Wrong type of player for me, we need a winger. If O'Brian is out and Cotterill is not fit, that is the position we need cover for.

Does a reality check mean you've been brainwashed and will settle for mediocrity.

Oh and here's a question, As Spart so eloquently put it:

"Several other clubs are cacking themselves as FFP rapidly approaches"

Do you think that the FA will bail them out?

Because of the amount of clubs who will suffer from high investment and low accumulation, I think it will be interesting to see what the FA do in response to this. Part of me thinks that there will be absolutely no benefit whatsoever from Cryne and Hill running a successful and sustainable football club, other than the fact we wont go into administration.

Next season when the majority of clubs have overspent what action do the realists think the Football League will take?

I hope he proves us wrong and scores goals

Excellent responses from most with one significant exception; although, apparently we're all brainwashed. Well at least we've got brains to wash! LOL.

Now I've slept on it I'm a bit more excited. Ok, actually I'm not. However, I did get to thinking about the positives, such as Keith Hill's ability to occasionally motivate a distinctly average lower-league player into the odd decent performance, like Perkins, Done and Wiseman. So here's to my positivity; Nouble was awful before, but under a decent man-manager let's see. You can't polish a t#rd, but you never know...

posted on 9/3/12

If you want to look at the positives Madrush you could also take in the factor that he is only contracted at West Ham until the end of this season and as he is quite far down the pecking order now (With no real contract offer from West ham) any player would realise that this is a chance to show what he can do and either earn a contract at West ham, Barnsley or any other club that he impresses with his performances.

The fact is, he was dreadful the first time round. Literally the only positive I took from his spell, was the fact that it ended.

But he's here now. Who knows, I doubt anyone would have predicted Vaz Te's revelation.

No point booing him, may as well get behind him

posted on 9/3/12

Royal, I'm not going to boo him. The guy needs to be given a chance (regardless of how bad he was last time he came here) and starting off with a chorus of boos is not a good way to begin your loan spell.
