I'd use this as a springboard myself mate.
Get as many of them on from the start make a few subs then if we are winning well at half time or on the hour or whatever.
Getting back to winning ways can only happen with another league match not the cup. A win in the cup does not mean winning ways in the league.
A cup win can get a team galvanised course it can.
a win is a win. but honestly messiah, our squad is not as strong as everyone keeps saying.
We have about 14 top players and after that we notice the difference when others come in... and we have enough injuries...
I would put out a team that we know is strong enough to get the job done, without risking injuries for saturday.
very strong bench though just in case

Yeah but man I thought the team we had out for the first game was strong enough. I know at home we should beat them easily.
messiah.... a poor pitch and horrible weather conditions are a great leveller.
we are back at the lane now........
In my view, this is as close to a dead certain home win as you can get in football. I doubt if Harry will take too many risks with his selection and we'll see more first teamers on the bench than we will the pitch.
No messiah,I hate to disagree with you as you've been in my corner so much but teams often do well in the cups but struggle in the league. The two competitions are not compatible as far as results are concerned.
Yeah but I dont mean we need the first team to win the game What Im saying is itd be a good run out, a nice game to show some dominance and getting the atmosphere among the players. I can only imagine their heads are down a bit now.
I would go with Chronics team but maybe slip Gomes or Carlo in between the sticks and put some creativity in the midfield, even if it means playing Niko there and dropping Saha and playing a 1 and 1 up front
Regardless of how its worked I think Defoe has to be a starter in that team so does Lennon and Hopefully Smith aswell
With the way they played in the first half messiah their heads should not be down for too long. I'm confident.
Thats debatable too Dawn, there was often games I played where we got beat and played rubbish and i just put it down to a bad day. Its games like yesterday where you play well and still get beat that can sometimes make you question yourselves.
I often put my own experiences into things i say on here, I never played at a high level maybe its completely different for them boys.
In the case of yesterday Man U have the winning momentum against us and it shows no signs of stopping yet,so they won. The week before was our neighbours Arsenal and anything can happen in a London derby. One win and we'll be off again. Man U are so far above everybody else that they don't come into the predicting equation.
I posted a while ago that when Chelsea were next beaten that they'd go on a losing run and they were beaten by Utd but won again after them. That match didn't count simply because it was Utd. After their next loss they went on a losing streak. The opposite will be the same for us.If we win our next match and we should then we'll go.

I am with you all the way, the first team has to play against Stevenage, with our recent poor results, and Stevenage bringing good support we could be in for a potential banana skin. Anybody whom advocates a weak team knows very little about the pitfalls that this sort of game throws up. Thee is no such thing as a certainty in football these days.
I advocated a strong team in the first game, and if that had happened, probably we would not be having this replay.
I really cannot see why the modern players feel the need to have a week of between each game.
Most of the first team were rested for the first game with Stevenage, saving them for the prem games against Arsenal and United. Guess what we lost both games. Brilliant.
The FA Cup should always be treated with the utmost respect, its in the Spurs DNA, and it is about time it was back in the trophy room at WHL. Strong team please Harry. The Everton game can wait.

Sandy DNA,had not been discovered last time Spurs won the FA CUP.
Groovy made a joke. It's a shame his team are approaching a decade without a trophy
