Joe you plank the place was banging and we dominated. you can't blame the fans for the performance can you
It's not just noise. Even on TV there's no sense of "being in the crowd" - that high camera gantry makes any game look like you're watching from the Goodyear blimp.

It felt quiet in Block 34
WHL is terrible for atmosphere, groslly overrated like Anfield.
Park Lane Upper in particular is extremely disappointing but to be honest that's where your quieter and less passionate fans sit
I'll be honest in the last few seasons its got quiter compared to like Liverpool, Chelsea and United are quiet!
But its common in most stadiums across England, I've been to Anfield and Old Trafford this season and Anfield has the best atmosphere
Bubbles, WHL has the best atmosphere of all London clubs, even when it's quiet like on Sunday, which you already know, so behave
Every stadium is getting quieter by the year and it is down to more corporate fans attending and the spiraling cost of tickets.
Anfield has been a lot quieter in the last couple of seasons. When we score the songs come out so i blame the post and crossbar for our recent quiet chanting
Agree with T Bone
I remember the very first time I went to the Bridge and the atmosphere and buzz was electric, even though it was just Newcastle, I dread to imagine what it would have been like for United or Arsenal, who at the time were easily the best two teams in the country.
Football is becoming more and more corporate.
People slam the Emirates and Arsenal fans for lacking passion but I am sure WHL and the Bridge are only about 3/4 years behind them.
I used to always look forward to ours and United's games at Anfield because the atmosphere was electric but have to say in recent years it's been poor.
Those who post regularly know that I have been banging on about this for a while now. The atmosphere at the lane yesterday was average. Those buzzing atmospheres that we used to get a very very few and far between. Shame really. Away games are much better. And can we stop singing oh when the spurs every ten minutes. It's so boring. Should be sung twice a game absolute maximum.
I was in park lane upper yesterday and it was pretty dead apart from a couple of blocks. Rubbish.
I am dreading moving to a new stadium. I remember going to the Highbury and it had a great atmosphere when we played them. The new stadium has no atmosphere compared to the 80's.
I wasn't around in the 80s but White hart lame five years ago evern two years ago is much louder than now. Having said this I have been to about ten other grounds up and down the country and whl Is comfortably the loudest I have been to. With etihad just behind. Stamford bridge is just a joke
WHL was rocking against Inter.
European nights are much better. Higher tension in the air and it is usually cold so everyone stands and sings to keep warm.
The dearer the seats the quieter the stadium, the real fans are the away end fans, not too worry Spurs, you are not alone.
Chronic
I was expecting you to bite at my first comment
Was it really that bad? Emirates IMO is better than WHL
Upton Park is probably the best I've been too, QPR was good as well but it was their cup final
Bubbles I saw it but didn't bite
We have expensive ticket prices but where I sit is not that much but still much quieter. Yesterday I had some idiot american and his mate who literally had come for a chat and catch up. It was facking embarrassing. And the guy two seats down was wearing red FFs. Defo not even a spurs fan. No self respecting spurs fan wears red to tottenham games
The american and his mate were directly behind me talking bollox in my ear all facking game
Chronic
I hate home games these days, I'll literally only go if it's the true North London club (Arsenal) or one of the big games these days.
Away games are the way forward. especially away derbies.
One thing I don't like about Northern aways is by the time you get there you are just so tired, unless it's a night game (which makes travel a nightmare) the buzz isn't as good.
I went to this game at FC United as my mate plays for them. The fans have great banter. Lower league games have great atmosphere -

What would you know about atmosphere, you watch most of your football at Stamford Bridge, that`s quiter than the library up the road in Holloway.
