I want to but it's been over a year and unlike with Henderson I've not seen much talent and it's not like he's had to get used to a new country/league/continent/position like Lucas.

I give up with you TooR.
We're not as good as we were in the second half of last season, the results have been poorer, the win percentage between the second half of last season when he took over (10/18 = 55%) and this season (10/26 = 38%) does not show improvement in Kenny's tenure but it shows decline.
Especially since we've taken a grand total of 5 points from 7 games (14% win ratio) since the new year, amassing one win, it certainly does show decline.
THAT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
----------------------------------
You're telling me things that I already know Fred. I never said anything different from that. What I said was that we have progressed from last season, which is factually correct. I'm also disappointed with our form, over the whole season but it doesn't mean we haven't progressed. I think tactics have played a major role in our failure to score and this has restricted us to a minor improvement.

Some players take longer than others. However I don't think this is the major problem with Carroll, or even many of the Liverpool squad, I believe it is tactics.
he'd be brilliant at a team like Chelsea or United though.

No thanks
Go on always, you know he'd be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The amount of unfounded and quite frankly, pathetic banter that the United and Chelsea supporters directed at Rafa means they could never accept him now.

They have been taken in by the media propaganda during his Liverpool tenure, brainwashed. However I believe they are lacking in characters this season so would love it if he came back. He'd get great treatment for a couple of months then, the pathetic comments and articles would start, Bad foreigner, bad.
Rafa's ridiculous interview made it so much worse. He only has himself to blame.

The interview explaining what other managers and even referees have said? Old Whiskey went on the WUM and Rafa bit, so what?

As Sir Alex said, the interview was a load of nonsense.

It invited ridicule and he got it. He was talking rubbish, Liverpool were top and he should have just focused on that.
It only invited ridicule from those who already ridiculed us as a full time job. Nett impact of nil at the end of the day.
Liverpool were hated no more than United in those days, it's just part of the game.

King Luis Suarez - What fantastic management is not, is playing 5 at the back at home to stoke. When they only have Peter f'in crouch up front!!!!!!!!!

Not to mention the fact that we were at home!!! Waiting to the 89th minute to make your first substitution in a "must win" game. If Roy had done these things we would have been up in arms and ran him out of town.

Same question i always ask when this ridiculous topic comes up - would you have sack SAF in 1989? Answer yes, in fact probably a few years before - well done you sacked the most successful manager in British history!
I'm not calling for Kenny to be sacked I just want better quality signings! I don't think it's to much to ask!
King Luis
I know it is a 'feature' of your generation, but stop being so impatient! I'm fed of ready things like - ''I used to think player x was rubbish but now he's really good' - Luca and Skrtel have both suffered this impatience recently.
I have even read posts where this realisation that a player is coming good followed by Downing/Adam/Henderson are rubbish!!!
So let's try to support the manager and players a bit and rather than writing off players give them a chance to settle and develop.
