Tsk, tsk, tsk.
How many inquiries/investigations into RFC is that now?
Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Surely IE would welcome yet another opportunity for rangers to prove their innocence ???
Enquiries so far:
- SFA
- SPL
- Strathclyde Police
- HMRC
- Scottish Charity Regulator
Think I'm missing one or two?
I can see somebody getting huckled before this is over.
Why are the Scottish Charity Regulator looking into this?
As stated in the article they agreed to take a lower amount in order to 'step up for Rangers'
Not at the wind up or anything but it seems a bit of a non story to me.
The Spanish Inquisition?
But then nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition...
What a phuqin disgracefull club they are!
Absolute shower of tramps.
FSA
SFA have two, and,
'Plus' the stock market people
im sure it's illegal to receive donations if you are not a registered charity. rangers now taking money from kids with down syndrome or spina bifida and squirreling it into their own accounts to pay players wages of cover other debts is a new low, even for this club.
gusger
I suspect because it was advertised as a charity fundraiser.
its just getting petty now
I know dal,ye'd think there might be some proof evident before ye start yer scheidt-flingin'
Tully
I knew there were two more
It's hard to work out which could be the most serious if they're found guilty in any of them.
AB - no mate. The Charity regulations are pretty severe. Charities can only give money to their stated causes. They cannot give it individuals or companies.
HOWEVER, the question will revolve around - advertised as a charity event but some money now going to football clubs.
Chicken i get that, however, the charity foundation are still receiving money - 10% instead of 60% - plus it has been widely publicised that the club are getting the majority of money raised.
OSCR are based in Dundee. I went for an interview there once but due to the Scottish Government making people go through hoops I never got the job.
Actually it'll be the Charity and their Trustees that be investigated NOT Rangers.
OSCR have no powers to investigate Rangers.
DC76,
They'd hardly be investigating if everything was above board
If only the polis had had a chance tae investigate Celtic.
They tried phoning them... but none of the phones worked - allegedly.
"They tried phoning them... but none of the phones worked - allegedly." what a Ishy. Really funny ...
Pffft
Aye, sure piishy. Away back to yer bottle of meths pal.
Tully is right.
They have the power to investigate the charity and, if necessary, strip them of their status as charity.
They can't do anything to Rangers though as far as I'm aware.
And how do you know, after the investigation, everything won't be above board?
