Unbeleiveable result!! His worst yet!!!

Rev, you cant help for numpties supporting like obediant dogs whatever tripe we get served up by our longstanding clueless board. This club has sacked the only two managers who lead us too championship play offs whilst idiotically appointing and standing by clueless jokes of managers like Cotteril, Megson, Platt, Calderwood??? What does that tell ye?? Embrace incompetence and reward stupidity (Cotteril 3+ year deal) and sack those who have ability and ambition to deliver success!!

Nothing will ever change until we get NEW OWNERS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOT cotterill's fault for me. alright maybe he should have left reid in but tbf, reid is not getting any younger. playing saturday, tuesday, saturday, tuesday might be beyond. i don't know that. you don't know that.

he picked gunter right wing with wooton right back against watford at home which was arguably our best performance all season.

the players are to blame for tonghts performance. doncatser wanted it more than us. simple as that. we thought we were home and dry and that this game should be a stroll in the park. cotterill can only do so much in terms of motivation. at the end of the day its up to the players to put the effort in.

i fancy we will see a really committed performance on saturday after a kick up the rear end from cotterill this week. this is where cotterill earns his money. i will expect are huge difference in performance on saturday

Donny fan in peace. I cannot comment on Cotterill or his tactics which were defensive against us. Normally you would take Donny to go a goal behind and buckle and fail to score. Tonight you had O'Driscoll and Cotterill and o'Driscoll would when at Donny fill a team of defenders at home. Again I am not in a position to comment. Good Luck for rest of season, we can both pull out of this mess. Well er at least you can. Good Luck

I don't understand the statement that it's a mangers job to inspire his team. Surely he inspired them the last two weeks? But not tonight? So how does that work?

I don't think you can blame the manager for tonight. It was poor but you have to look at the players. Not enough passion. They shouldn't need inspiring surely? The truth is if McCleary doesn't score then we are screwed. We are down there cause we are poor and results like this will happen. We will not turn the proverbial corner because we are too poor. Hopefully we will scrape enough points amongst the dross to finish above three teams. But I you expect anymore your fooling yourself. SC is just getting on with his job.

I always thought 3 points fromthese two games would have been ok, especially considering our home record! So if we hey something Saturday then could be OK!

I thought you were having a go at people the other day for being negative and not getting behind the team.

I'm sick of self-righteous twonks coming on here telling other people they're bad fans. Then slating the players and going on about how rubbish we are. At the same time as making excuses for a man who has embarrassed and hurt our club by breaking records for poor performance.

I wish you could swear on here. Spazwits

Cotterill deciding to change a form team around to fit in 5 defenders at home against Donny is just craziness IMO.

If he wants to pair Chambers and Lynch together, then fair enough, but that means wooton has to be on the bench, because it's just plain stupidity to move our best RB into a position he's not so comfortable in,to accommodate a worse RB and in turn drop one of our current form player from MF.

There are other MF's on the bench that could play,(if Reid needed as rest, which I doubt)which would of mean t that we could keep our best RB in his rightful position.
His tactics today just dismantled a midfield that is on form, there is no way playing Gunter out of position and dropping a form player in reid can in anyway be seen as a smart managerial decision, especially when this was a 6 pt game against the bottom side in the league at home, and a win would of put us 9 points clear of them and would of basically put a big nail in one of our relegation rivals coffin.

I haven't been on the anti cotterill bandwagon and have been hoping he could turn things around, which lately he seemed to be doing, but i just don't see how he can be defended after todays decision to split up a form team,to accommodate 5 defenders in a game at home to the bottom of the league.

SOD isn't the problem. We have a clot that we can't get rid of and we can't afford the surgery to get it fixed.

This is another thing that annoys me. Why has it got to be a bandwagon? Why this idea that people that wanted Cotterill sacked where idiots whipped into a frenzy, people that can't think for themselves are make reasonal rational decisions. It's a perfectly valid point of view that he should be sacked and you can make strong arguments to back it up.

That's not a dig at you Payne. Just making a wider point on what it's been like as forest fan the last few months.

The performance was one of the worst I've seen this season...there have been a few contenders too.

I cannot see how Moussi continues to get a chance of pulling a Forest shirt on. The guy is terrible..he can't pass, runs as though he's in one of those Baywatch slo-mo sequences and has no urgency or awareness.
And before anyone points out that he's good at winning the ball and making tackles, yes he certainly is....good at winning back the ball he's given away in the first place.

btw, anyone have any ideas as to what SC was aluding to when he mentioned Findley having issues?

Cotterill out......nooooooooooooooooow!
