tez..
i thought novak ran hard and arfield, woods was ok and hunt was much better than recently..
im afraid joey/kay mean we are still a couple of players short during the game.. we might win some 50/50 balls if they ever got anywhere near where the ball actually is!!!!
some serious running away in the last 10 minutes didnt help our cause.. maybe grayson can stop em doing it???

Acute Moaning Jacko....YOU invented it

If Town had played Brillo Jacko, no way would we have lost.....We'd have scoured 'em

I'll get mi coat.

It was very poor tonight, so, so frustrating, yet we won, Hartlepool huffed and puffed, and apart from a double save from Smithies , when the striker was a mile offside and a terrific shot that skimmed the post Smithies had nowt to do, Town could have been 3 up at half time! Yet we were so poor, no midfield at all, lets hope Johnson starts on Saturday, Joey did ok, but bizzarly skipped a few challenges, another 3 points on Sat please!

Flattery always worked with me, especially when others did it as well...

I once got refused at the Starlight (yea gods), said it wasn't fair to the regulars to let me in...so went back to the Shoehorn...

Lee did change the game but I thought Arfield and Woods both had decent games as well. There's no reason we can't take second place, nobody else seems to want it and on paper I reckon we probably have the best run in. We just need to start winning a few on the bounce to build that famous Grayson momentum.

The (Alternative) Match Report ..

Boots (JamaiKan Intntal) ~ Versus ~ 38 Cas Plus Tumbleweeds Tez & Inter .. (The Numpty's)

Match Commences .. 7:45 pm sharp ..

Straight away ~ Knackers Yard Shire Horses Mac n Mabel Morrison conspire to miskick the ball and stray passes fail to find their men .. and it soon becomes obvious a FIT Peter Clarke is worth more than BOTH of those two Clowns put together .. so after 15 mins its ..

Boots 1 ~ 0 The Numpties .. ..

Jack Hunt ~ International Wing Back (sorry Dubbs) Yet again Puts in a Scintillating M O T M Performance and was acclaimed by Boots to be (apart from defending superbly) our best attacker on the pitch

Boots 3 ~ 0 The Numpties .. ..

Larry Grayson + S & M (Slated by the Numpties for best part of 10 days) Masterminds two brilliant substitutions resulting in a Superb Winner Conjured up by Joey G and Neatly Executed by Al Lee ..

Boots 5 ~ 0 The Numpties .. .. ..

Match Finishes in yet another resounding success for J K Boots once again showing The Numpties up for what they truly are .. Nothing more than Mere Tumbleweed being blown around like the sands of time ..

As we approach the Auto Promotion Places as Forecast by Boots do you think it only right that he should continue to Stuff It Up The Numpties for all he's worth .. ? ..

As Always Victory is Bootsie's and where he LEADS others Follow .. And As Berkshire says (where you bin fella) A Leg End in his own mind ..

Never slagged Grayson off, always said I'd give him a chance.

Jack Hunt MOTM

He did some running alright and did a little "COME ON" to the crowd but what did he do of any note in the match? As I said on my match report he did okay but his final delivery was massively off all night. MOTM had to be Arfield or Woods - a PROPER full back because he can actually defend.

What's your prediction for Saturday JK ?

And as for Clarke, did you not notice how we didn't give away any penalties yesterday, or how the 2 centre halfs didn't continuously give away needless free kicks in silly positions. Or how we pretty much always had both centre halfs behind the ball where they're supposed to be rather than 20 yards behind it because they want gung-ho and got nowhere near it.

Cas, I think we have a tough April, Away to Orient, Preston, Bournemouth, & Walsall who beat Sheff u last night, then home v Wednesday ( potentially a HUGE game), then Scunny who seem to do well against us.

Every game looks tough to me...Colchester (a), Chesterfield (a), Carlisel(a), Orient...B'muff...Preston..Walsall..even the home games (of which we only have 5)..Charlton, Wendies, Scunny and then the dreaded Yeovil...I can't bear the thought we might need to win the Yeovil game...no ..no...please no...
