Ofcourse no Pool fan wanted him to do well after he left us..... Its only natural.
I would like to see him back to his best... back in Spain though.
See he's even gone back to being blonde!

"The guy is shot. It's a shame cos he was a great, great player."
Maybe his legs have gone. But what about his natural ability? his movement? his finishing?
Watched yesterday and he just looked confused ...
didn't know what his next move is
Shame.
From what I've seen it seems to be his first touch is just nothing like it used to be. He was able to move away from his marker with such ease in teh early days at Liverpool
I feel sorry for the guy but some fans are pleased to see his demise for ditching us.
---------------
I'm one of those enjoying his demise
His attitude at Liverpool in his last few months was poor.
He looked disinterested and now he has gone from being one of the best strikers in europe and a big part of the spanish international set up to..... well
Nothing -
Talk about a bad career move

He doesn't get into positions to score goals anymore, so I have no idea what his finishing is like! He used to make a lot of goals himself though. Get it anywhere within 25 yards he'd create enough space to get a shot away. Just doesn't have that in him any more.
------------------------------------
i don't think that is quite true. watching the fa cup game last night he had a couple of great chances to score with his touch, turning defenders etc and his shots ended up being worse than pathetic.
to me he looked like he's beyond caring, not just about chelsea but football in general. when things weren't going for him with us he'd get a bit petulent and moody but at least it showed he cared. now he's just pretty devoid of emotion.

He's more Jackie Collins than Jack Bauer
they get paid far too much today not to care half the time because they can afford not to care, which is wrong, that for me is a big problem in the game today but dif topic lol.
not sure if he ever will get his form back, not our player any more so doesn't bother me personally, more worried about Carroll, henderson and Downing and their form.
watching the game last night he played ok. Got a penalty put a chance on a plate for sturridge....
Having said that he was a shadow of what he was. Chelsea fans were chanting his name to take the penalty, that might have helped if he had scored?
He might see the new manager as a new start? Dunno. Personally I don't think he'll ever be nearly as good as he was.
He just does not look like he enjoys his football anymore.
He's playing like he regrets moving there. If he moved back to Liverpool hed be back among the goals.
The fact that some Liverpool fans now pity him, illustrates just how pathetically he has performed at Chelsea.
Truth be told, it makes me rather than .
Football karma if you ask me.
Just started watching 24 on Netflix, can't believe how rubbish and implausible it is! Still got me hooked though. Dammit.
I have such a man crush on Jack Bauer. I'd settle for Kim though.
