Swap Milner for Nasri and its a perfect balance

and NDJ on the bench somewhere

Am not convinced in this day and age that there is such a thing as a prefered line up. There are so many factors to take into account not the least s which is setting up a defence to counter a perceived opposition forward line up and setting up an attack and mid field to take advantage of weakness in an opposition defence.

I know at one stage I used to think that we should put out our strongest team in all games but that just cant happen anymore with the tempo of the prem.
I still think however there is a spine to a team

Kompany

Yaya

Silva

Aguero


And the rest are what you tinker with in differing situations.

Completely agree that these days there are rare occasions for a preferred 11 however I do think everyone has their favourite 11 players who you would play agaisnt a high quality team.

Yes Lee that is definitely our best spine. Without Yaya I was surprised how slow we were at attacking.

If we were playing United at weekend, I'd go for the OPs team but with Milner in for Nasri.
