Sounds great MonThePalace, but having never got past my 10 metre swimming badge (still proudly sewn on to my speedos), I will have to give this one a miss!
Have a great time!
Predictions for tomorrow? Heart says 2-0 Palace, head says 1-1
Just about to buy the comedy night tickets.
For £20 it's a really good deal considering they're big name comedians. Also the money goes to a good cause so everyone wins!
Well done Caymans got it spot on! At first I thought you said Hearts to win 2-0. But to be fair they did win 2-1 so I'll give you that
So no one's going down to quiz Garvan and Wright?
Is anyone going to the Beer Festival? Or did they go to the one last year?
Yes just received tickets (me and missus) for comedy night and beerex. My first beerex for lots of years (not counting Wetherspoons) so am looking forward to it. Just wondering if anyone knows if it is in the upper or lower Holmesdale?

It seems like it's all of the Holmesdale? Or the Red n Blue bar? I'm not much of an ale drinker but surely out of 100 there must be 1 I like
For those that can go it does seem like a good day out if there's sun (hopefully), Selhurst and beer and CPFC highlights. What more can you ask for?
These sort of events seem better than quizzing Garvan and Wright on a Monday evening.
Hi all, booked my tickets for the Comedy Night (yeah, nothing knew at Selhurst Park
So, anyway looking forward to seeing the likes of Sean Lock.
Also, going to the 2nd Annual Beer Fest!
Was £5 entry last year, but even at £6 - the Palace pint glass you get to keep is worth it!
Not really absorbed into the Ales (more lager myself), I thought last years Beer Fest was a good occasion to try something different. Ended up being one of the last to leave If I remember correctly...still sobering up...City of Cambridge Boathouse Bitter was a favourite.
But, even if you’re not into your Beers, there was some good entertainment in the Red & Blue Bar up in the Holmesdale.
And some of the members of the HOL/ BBS played on the holy turf.
Plus, Tony…I mean, Neil Morrissey & the 2010 Owners were at the turnout.
crystal_purley (U2365) – the event was mainly in the Upper, but due to the decent crowd, the Lower was opened.
Hopefully these two events could be a good opportunity to put some usernames to some faces.
Thanks for that info, have been a bitter etc man for a few years now but there will also be the blonde ales (lager but without the added fizz), ciders, perrys and fruit beers which I have tried before. Yes it would be good to put faces (and real names) to names and may get a badge made (only joking).
