Part of me is happy that it probably means a good number of them will be on tv.......

I don`t think you can be called plastic for watching on TV, you are after all seeing the same game as the paying spectators. That is the name of the game these days. Smaller grounds, less chance of getting tickets, so watch in comfort on TV, no different to being in a box at the ground.
The real plastics are those walking around with their shirts on in the local shopping centre, when the game is actually being played and is also on TV.

Cheers Messiah, Serial is such a plum. I hope he doesn`t speak to his Mum like that when she is spoon feeding him his food with his bib on.
Good point Arthur.
But I agree, it is a sad state of affairs. And to be honest, i go to WAY less games these days, partly because I now have a family etc.
But that means I often think 'oh getting to that game could be tricky........but oh good, it's on tv anyway'. Whereas if they weren't on tv, maybe I'd be trying even harder to get to the games?
That said, I have tickets for tomorrow and CAN'T GO!!!
My mum has passed away Sandy. Don't be mean.
Do any of you lads think if every single game was available through a sky subscription would it impact attendances?
This happens every season, think we are on the TV more than any other team
Agree Sandy. when i used to go to all the games, most were saturdays . Got to the gorund by 11am and have a good few drinks and bit of a sing along with the boys then loads more after , knowing you had sunday to recover and spend with family.. I know times have changed but i miss the sat 3pm kickoffs

Sorry, but you can be such a pain.
7 hours ahead here so it makes a nice change not having to wait up 'til 2:45am KO.
Understand what you're saying though, Arthur. I remember the good ole' days when it all happened at one.

Now, now, I think you are getting slightlly carried away, find somebody your own age. I`m spoken for.
BTW.......Do people still decorate their windows with their team's posters, scarves and rosettes leading up to a cup final ?
Pattayaspur
Think they will if we get there this yr
Remember i had my dog drapped in a Tottenham flag every time i walked her after we won cup in 1981
Cup final build up is just amazing, fans who think its all about 4th really are missing the point , trophys devine a clubs history
I'll get my missus' to make a some small shirts for the neighbour's fighting cockerels if we get there.
Is your neighbour Sturridges right foot... he likes cockfights
I doubt it Weare. Not unless he looks like a Thai version of David Seaman
Just went next door to speak with 'Wirasak', and showed him my Spurs shirt and he beamed with pride
He also jokingly mentioned that if I give him 500 Baht, he'd train one of his birds stand on a football.
Gotta' luv the locals
