Bellamy is still a terrific player who we know would do well up here but he spends a lot of time in the treatment room.

if we were to get rid of sammy and stokes, and bring in bellamy and boothroyd, id be one happy little camper i have to say!

Id take bellamy, just so that;
a) the other side will tell us that he will never come to us again, will go to a PL club etc etc.. theeennn...
b) when he does sign, he is over the hill, past it, and wont be any good

If we can get him at a lowish cost (not very likely!) then yes, get him in.
Otherwise, no thanks.

I'd rather we invested our money in a player who is going to help the team in the long term.
If he does come though he will have my 100% support.
Why don't you lot accept that you can't afford the wages Boothroyd, Given and Bellamy would command. These guys will want double what the OF can offer.
I think this Israeli forward that Kayal has recommended is looking a possibility. But remember it's all relative.
Maybe we could get Bothroyd if we paid him a signing on fee and wages were comparable with the top earners.
Unlikely we could get Bellamy on anything other than a loan, and to behonest I would rather spend money on talented yopungsters, which has worked well for us so far under lennon

You get the feeling Bellamy turned up for Cardiff games when he fancied it not sure if that would be of much use to us.Like him and all that but wages would be better spent elsewhere.
